I have covered every single player in the PGH Washington database that have signed in the early signing period. The final four prospects listed below will be headed to the NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 levels.
Class of 2021 Signees (Part 7)
2021 5’11 SG Claire Gallagher Claire Gallagher 5'11" | SG King's | 2021 State WA (King’s HS/Columbia Cascades) – Signed to Lafayette College
A super skilled guard that has the size and skill to play multiple positions on the court. A quality outside shooter that will provide floor spacing for the Division 1 program. Gallagher is a solid pickup for Lafayette College and a player that will work hard to earn every opportunity she gets.
2021 5’7 PG Piper Bauer Piper Bauer 5'7" | PG Peninsula | 2021 State WA (Peninsula HS) – Signed to South Dakota Mines
A solid pickup for the NCAA Division 2 program, South Dakota Mines. Bauer will provide basketball IQ, work ethic and shooting ability at the next level. Bauer has never been the biggest player on the floor, but she works for everything and has a strong passion for the game, which will suit her well. She can run the one, but has the shooting ability to play off the ball and put herself in shooting positions off the catch.
2021 5’11 SF Skylar Bea Skylar Bea 5'11" | SF Washougal | 2021 State WA (Washougal HS) – Signed to University of Idaho
The third member from Washington’s 2021 class to sign with the Vandals, joining Ashlyn Wallace Ashlyn Wallace 5'6" | PG Clarkston | 2021 State WA and Madison Rubino Madison Rubino 6'0" | PF Glacier Peak | 2021 State WA . Bea will join her older sister who is currently in the program. She is a hard working and skilled wing player with a great work ethic and attitude on the floor. Idaho is known for recruiting hard working and coachable kids and she fits the script.
2021 5’10 SF Lolo Weatherspoon Lolo Weatherspoon 5'10" | SF Union | 2021 State WA (Union HS) – Signed to Seattle Pacific University
A “hidden gem” out of Union High School, who seem to consistently have quality college prospects for different levels, year in and out. Weatherspoon is really versatile on the offensive end and can score in different ways. She projects to be a strong player at the wing for the SPU Falcons at the next level.
