Please do not be offended if I haven’t mentioned your player, I haven’t been out to see everyone, it would help if our monopoly of a paper cared about girls basketball and I could actually see what was happening. Please note sites that let you vote as many times as you want to are IRRELEVANT to me, I’m not in the popularity contest that many succumb to, I give open and honest feedback based on what I actually see, usually in person.
Raniyah Lewis Raniyah Lewis 5'8" | CG Conroe | 2024 State TX (Oak Ridge)
Lewis is an explosive scorer that is making the transition nicely. She’s powerful attacking the basket and equally as powerful rebounding and defending and her making the transition smoothly comes as no surprise because her BB-IQ has always been ahead of her years and her best years are definitely ahead of her as she is about to blow completely up.
Jade Williams Jade Williams 5'8" | CG Huffman | 2024 State TX (Huffman)
Williams sent a message over the club season and an even louder one at the numerous individual showcases I caught her in so she is on the verge of just blowing completely up. Her poise on the court, her ability to score off the dribble as well as from midrange gives her numerous options yet she can drop te long ball, and all of that comes from her ability to create her shot under pressure
Aniah Alexis Aniah Alexis 5'8" | SG Cy Lakes | 2024 State TX (Waller)
Alexis caught my eye at her middle school last season and did a good job on her star-studded club team however she took it to another level at PassThaBall #Select40 and has just started her high school career off with a bang. She can take defenders off the dribble, with either hand and finish, with either hand, after contact and that’s huge but she is on the verge of blowing completely up this season
Madison Bob Madison Bob 5'8" | SG Hightower | 2024 State TX (Hightower)
Bob is long and athletic, remember I called that the base on which I’ve evaluated many players, and all that matters is that I’m always right and she has made the transition to “big girls” basketball like I knew she would but as she continues to learn the physicality, I can only imagine how good she will be once this s said and done because she can score from mid to long-range as well as take defenders off the dribble
Simran Williams Simran Williams 5'7" | SG North Shore | 2024 State TX (North Shore)
Williams has taken the charge immediately, on defense she already gets it at this level, and let me reword her offensive skills, she has taken charge averaging in double digits after their first few games. Her release is smooth and quick, more importantly, accurate as she understands how to set the big girls up yet as the season progresses, she’ll be setting it off as her scoring ability, multiple ways will only get better
