Abigail Tomaski Abigail Tomaski 6'0" | SG Memorial | 2023 State TX (Just Play Elite) Memorial HS
Tomaski continues to fall into that scoring machine category as she can take defenders off the dribble, she can create her shot for the midrange, or she can drop the long ball consistently. Her ability to catch and shoot continues to impress me as well as her ballhandling under pressure
RyLee Grays RyLee Grays 6'3" | PF The Village School | 2023 State #17 Nation TX (TNBA) The Village School
Grays is rated among the top players not only on PGH Texas but in the country, she has the body and power to dominate the paint and has shown that for seasons. She was a guest player for the team and she filled that 5 spot up with an abundance of points and rebounds
Megan Medlenka (Just Play Elite) Memorial HS
Medlenka was a bit of a surprise for me, I had seen her a few times just filling in blanks and play solid defense while getting hers offensively in the flow yet I didn’t realize how high her basketball IQ was and this setting was great for me to just watch her make passes and set teammates up for baskets
Tobi Ademuwagun (Team Spaz) Jordan HS
Ademuwagun has #BEAST stamped all over her as her mindset of “you won’t outwork me” she never tires and her effort inside the paint is among the best I’ve seen come through here in the Houston area but her upside combined with that desire is even scarier. She finishes strongly with either hand, can attack from the wing and face the basket, and score
Elizabeth Walton (TNBA) The Village School
Walton has given me “and ones of the day” numerous times this season, in one game she took a hit so hard I thought she was done yet she came back to win it with a 3, you can’t teach this not you can you teach how she can fill it up in the flow from mid to long-range or taking defenders off the dribble
Riley McCloskey Riley McCloskey 5'3" | PG Memorial | 2023 State TX (Just Play Elite) Memorial HS
I always say “the game starts at the one” and I remember the first time I saw McCloskey heading to the 8th grade playing against a seasoned high school club team that I just knew what was coming. You can’t teach comprehending the game, it’s on the job training and her poise and maturity have her as one of the top point guards in her class in Texas. She throws pinpoint passes for assists, with EITHER hand, she takes defenders off the dribble with either hand, she creates her shot, the midrange pull-up was on full display and she can shoot the long ball
