The Shore Conference is one of the largest in the state. There is plenty of next level talent to keep an eye on as the season begins. Here is part one of the series where we look at the top players in the conference.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="134626" first="Madison" last="St. Rose"] (2022) | St. John Vianney</strong>
St. Rose was the state’s best player from a season ago. The left-handed point guard showed off her ability to lead a team to a dominant season. St. Rose will be the best player in the state over the next two seasons.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="134607" first="Destiny" last="Adams"] (2021) | Manchester Township</strong>
Adams came to Manchester as a freshman and has led the team to three straight state sectional titles. Manchester will try to make it a fourth this season. The North Carolina commit is a double-double machine who has dominated the conference for three years on both ends of the floor.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="155550" first="Rachel" last="Capua"] (2021) | Jackson Memorial</strong>
Capua scored 512 points last season and knocked down 62 three’s. She did this as half of a dynamic duo along with [player_tooltip player_id="134585" first="Kristina" last="Donza"]. With Donza now gone, Capua will take over as the No. 1 option. Her numbers will continue to skyrocket during her senior season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="134627" first="Justine" last="Pissott"] (2022) | Red Bank Catholic</strong>
Pissott is one of the top guards in the state. She has the size and athleticism to dominant at the next level. As a sophomore, Pissott knocked down 67 three’s on her way to becoming one of the top prospects in New Jersey.
<strong>Jessica Riepe (2021) | Marlboro</strong>
Riepe is a do it all player for Marlboro but she excels from the three-point line. She led the state with 97 makes from beyond the arc during her junior season. She is an elite defender on the perimeter who can guard the opposing teams best player. This will continue all during her final season at Marlboro.
