Standout guard play Bishop Lynch @ Desoto pt2

Guards galore filled with talent were on hand in Bishop Lynch at Desoto game and I gave you part 1 earlier, here’s part 2 <strong>Bishop Lynch</strong> <strong>2021</strong> <img class="alignleft wp-image-230937" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/DSC_0115-2-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="124" height="124" /> <strong>Talia Depetrillo-5’6 PG</strong> Depetrillo is a heady point guard that understands how to control the tempo and she makes good decisions, under pressure but the senior also has a nice shot from midrange, she can set the defense up to get her shot off in a number of ways as well as hit it by pulling up on the break. She also does a good job attacking the basket as well as seeing the floor <img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-230934 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/DSC_0140-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> <strong>Addison Knott-5’8 SG</strong> Knott does a good job at shooting the ball, in fact, she did better than good from mid to long-range and made the defense take notice as well as get some of the pressure off of [player_tooltip player_id="97624" first="Paige" last="Bradley"] who opened up on fire yet Knott squares up and knocks down shots to keep the defense in knots, pun intended and she can attack the rim and finish strongly after contact <strong>2023</strong> <img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-230936" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/DSC_0163-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> <strong>Natalie Cardenas-5’6 SG</strong> Cardenas was exciting to see for a number of reasons because she plays with energy as well as passion and her setting the defense up by creating her shot was very nice especially when you factor in her quick and accurate release from mid to long-range. She’s also poised on the court, pressure doesn’t phase her one bit and that same energy showed while she was on defense <strong>Bella Piccioni-5’4 SG</strong> Piccioni falls into that "size don’t matter when you can play" category and she was around the ball making things happen numerous times. She understands her role, plays it well but she contributes whether it’s playing defense or making key passes for assists, she did that, as well as handle the ball under pressure. She has good form o her pull-up jumper and with her mindset, I/m betting o her upside as well <strong>Desoto</strong> <img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-230931" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/DSC_0074-2-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> <strong>2021</strong> <strong>Kayla Glover-5’6 PG</strong> Glover has always shown she attack the basket and finish, she’s just polished up even more through the years, and with that, and her ability to create her jumper, are her go-to moves for baskets but she understands when to take her shots, she plays within herself, doesn’t force anything and this is good because she doesn’t take bad shots and she’s a good shooter. That, as well as her defense always stands out <img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-230932 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/DSC_0069-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> <strong>Ari’Yanna Hines-5’8 SG</strong> Hines continues to show that she’s serviceable and on a team loaded with talented players at every position, she finds ways to make a difference and one of those is that she understands how to get hers in the flow, secondly, she plays within herself and thirdly, don’t give anything because she’s seasoned and understands how to make the defense pay, either from her jumper or her seeing the floor and hitting her teammates for easy baskets but also note that she defends well
