I was pretty sure Cy Creek was going to win this game but my main objective was seeing how [player_tooltip player_id="96161" first="Aniyah" last="Sanford"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158882" first="Heather" last="Baymon"] did against the best backcourt in the state, remember "it’s not what you do it’s who you do it against" and it was definitely a learning experience for the talented sophomore and freshman but they showed glimpses on big things coming for both but here are my standouts
<strong>Cy Creek</strong>

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97622" first="Kyndall" last="Hunter"]</strong>
Hunter has always played the same, no matter if she was up or down 20 and that told me a lot about her early when I called her a #D1Lock in the 6th grade, maybe the 5th but before her first middle school game yet she didn’t stop working and I knew she wouldn’t, based on the opening sentence and worked on her range, NBA, worked on her body control, got stronger, finishes with contact as well as just understanding the game and her pull-up jumpers were like she was playing around the world but as she closes this chapter out in high school, she’ll open a new one down 290 or I-10 with Texas next season

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="65878" first="Rori" last="Harmon"]</strong>
Harmon was 10 when I first saw her, I have to give an assist to her Katy Rebel coach who told me I had to see her, and I haven’t stopped looking, even when she fakes me out on The Gram videos with her crossover which she has down pat. Forget about guarding her in the open court, she has deceptive speed coupled with a variety of moves including the HEZ and COP, change of pace but her pull-up jumper going straight up or fading away is very consistent not to leave out both she and Hunter do a good job of what I love to see players do, play the p[assign lane because that’s buckets galore and like Hunter, she’ll be attending Texas as well
<strong>Langham Creek</strong>
<img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-229926" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/DSC_0136-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135377" first="Saija" last="Cleveland"] </strong>
Cleveland definitely turned her game up for this one and she opened with a vengeance. The tools are there, so is the size and that combined with her mindset is what attracts college coaches because when you can do things instinctively, that’s a gift for the wannabe evaluators, you’re ahead of the game with those traits and they all stood out as she was overpowering in the paint, finished with contact and showed both the pull-up jumper as well as attacking the rim strongly but on top of those things, her defense was solid inside the paint and she battled for every rebound. The ironic part is that she hasn’t peaked, trust me

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136349" first="Kaley" last="Perkins"]</strong>
Perkins is heading to OU and I’ve been saying Oh You didn’t since I saw her dropping the long ball at around 10 or 11. She was long, she could get her shot off and she was consistent so her range has gotten deeper, she showed that yesterday but I already knew and I’ve always loved her poise and mannerisms, no matter what the score was, something else you can’t reach yet seeing her diving on the floor, she’s signed with Oklahoma folks, and battling for loose balls as well as rebounds tells you what type of player she is and seeing her play that passing lane numerous times just brightened my day
