[player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] 2022 5’7" SG Clutch Rose/Wilson HS - Charlotte saved one of her best performances for one of Clutch Rose’s most formidable opponents in that of San Diego Waves - as she was a perfect six for six from three-point land for a total of 20 points. She is a polished and skilled scorer with exceptional range and has a knack for hitting the big shot in stride for her team.
[player_tooltip player_id="158567" first="Lainey" last="Spear"] 2023 6’2" PF Clutch Rose/Beaverton HS - Lainey saved her best performance against a tremendous opponent in that of PHH as she scored 14 in the first half alone in a masterful display of low-post moves. Spear finished with a game high 20 points to go with 3 rebounds as a polished and poised interior scorer who is highly calculated with her moves as well as a masterful defender.
[player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] 2022 5’5" PG Oregon Elite Gold/South Eugene HS - Sofia has crafted a role for Oregon Elite Gold as a piercing scorer who flourishes both in the halfcourt and transition setting as she bursts through the defense and finishes well around the rim. A crafty scorer who is just as initiating on defense, Mergert is very much well a two way player that knows how to make a difference in the box score and on the court.
[player_tooltip player_id="204575" first="Afton" last="Keeney"] 2021 6’0" PF Clutch Cardinal/Westview HS - Afton provided as a serviceable forward with the strength and skill to play inside but also the elusiveness to run in the transition as a difference maker for Clutch Cardinal. Her 14 point 6 rebound, 2 assist, 2 block, 2 steal performance versus New Mexico Clippers was very indicative of her ability to affect the game throughout several faucets.
Honorable Mention:
[player_tooltip player_id="158524" first="Lindsey" last="Wilson"] 2022 6’0" PF Oregon Elite Gold/Mountainside HS - Lindsey had some superb games for Oregon Elite Gold - as a determined rebounder who seals her opponents in the low post - once she gets position it is difficult to stop her. She is incredibly blue collar in her approach to the game and very productive as she simply makes traditional low-post efforts that favor her build and skill set.
