Following an 11-win campaign, North Fayette Valley returns leading scorers [player_tooltip player_id="165036" first="Abby" last="Reichter"], Emma Ney and [player_tooltip player_id="163347" first="Kenlin" last="Schmitt"]. Reichter knocked down over 32 percent of her 3-point attempts, scoring 318 points. Ney averaged nearly 10 per game and Schmitt contributed eight. Schmitt and Reichter are also the top rebounders back for the team.

North Iowa will look to get into the win column this season with six players returning from a year ago led by Emma Duve and Leah Kramersmeier. Duve started 15 games and played in all 22 with Kramersmeier starting three and also seeing action in every contest. Hannah Boekleman, Elizabeth Beenken, Elise Hinders and Gracie Westfall are also back.

It was another memorable winter for North Linn a year ago, as the Lynx cruised past Osage for the Class 2A state championship. That group was dominated by seniors including Grace and [player_tooltip player_id="135041" first="Abby" last="Flanagan"]. [player_tooltip player_id="64796" first="Ellie" last="Ware"] returns after posting over 11 points and nearly seven rebounds per game to lead the way this year. She is joined by [player_tooltip player_id="63057" first="Ellie" last="Flanagan"], who played in all 27 games and started three.

After starting the year 0-2, North Mahaska reeled off 20 consecutive wins before coming up short of a Class 1A state appearance with a loss to Martensdale-St. Mary’s in a regional final. The Warhawks will need several players to step into new roles, but do return Layla Hargis. The junior had 97 rebounds last year. Addie Schilling, Kaitlyn VanDonselaar, Breanna Fogle and a handful of others are also back.
