Previews: Ottumwa, Panorama, Paton-Churdan, PCM, Pekin

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Ottumwa Bulldogs</strong> 13-10 last year 10 returning players</p> For the fifth consecutive winter, Ottumwa reached double figures in the win column, finishing 13-10. The Bulldogs have a run of four consecutive years with a winning record also to defend this season. Much of that successful run, though, came with graduated seniors Grace Bookin-Nosbisch and Alli Bookin-Nosbisch providing constant scoring. The Panthers have had a winning record each year this decade with all but one of those being at least 20 victories. They were a young group a year ago and will be dominated by returning players such as [player_tooltip player_id="129030" first="Payton" last="Beckman"], Laci Rishel and [player_tooltip player_id="163340" first="Angel" last="Poldberg"] this year. The Rockets hope to keep that trend going this winter behind senior [player_tooltip player_id="164974" first="Danielle" last="Hoyle"]. Hoyle averaged 18 and 11 a year ago, shooting over 62 percent from the field. The Mustangs will lean on returning players such as [player_tooltip player_id="165052" first="Lilli" last="Baird"] and Emma George this winter. Baird posted almost eight points per game as a junior, with George adding nearly five rebounds. Pope scored 11.5 points per game as a sophomore, shooting nearly 68 percent from the field.
