We’ve all heard the tale of Santa’s reindeer pulling the sleigh. Dasher, Dancer, Comet, Cupid, Prancer, Vixen, Blitzen, Donner, and Rudolph are famous Holiday characters. What if the sleigh was Michigan high school basketball’s junior class? Who would pulling the sleigh? Here are my example of 9 juniors leading the way.
Who would be pulling the sleigh in the senior class? See below.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147725" first="Lexus" last="Bargesser"] (PG, Grass Lake)</strong>
Bargesser has been a player and a name that has been on fire. We need a player on her type of hot streak to help pull Michigan high school basketball.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147747" first="Brooke" last="Daniels"] (PG, Macomb L’Anse Creuse)</strong>
I want leaders that aren’t afraid to put in work. That definitely describes Daniels. She’s a grinder that will put in the work when the bright lights are off.

Let’s face it, we have 1 night to do this thing so we need speed. Diaz is one of the fastest and most well conditioned players in the state. She’d fit the bill nicely.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147732" first="Kaley" last="Douglass"] (SG, Williamston)</strong>
If you want to pull the Michigan high school basketball sleigh, you have to be a team player. All reviews say that Douglass is a great choice to fill this role.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="227302" first="Marissa" last="Henry"] (SG, Salem)</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-209353" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/10/121_Marissa-HenryPrepHoops-2-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />
It’s always nice to have that player on your team that’s a bit underrated. Henry is a legitimate threat at the 2 guard and a player that probably deserves more press.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147755" first="Raigan" last="Lawrence"] (PG, Avondale)</strong>
We have to have up and coming stars on the team that’s pulling the Michigan sleigh. Lawrence is definitely on an upwards trajectory. She has a ton of upside as a lead guard.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147742" first="Alaila" last="Walker"] (CG, Kalamazoo Central)</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-209281" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/10/43_Alaila-WalkerPrepHoops-2-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />
This is a big job, so we need some explosiveness on the team. Walker is about as explosive as they come. When she gets hot, she a game changing scorer and ball handler.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178889" first="Faith" last="Walker"] (PF, Forest Hills Northern)</strong>
We have to have toughness to carry this sleigh, and Walker can fill that role. She’s gritty in the paint and an energy player down low.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147713" first="Ruby" last="Whitehorn"] (PG, Detroit Edison)</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-147801" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/02/Ruby-Whitehorn-e1582478923240-300x245.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="245" />
We need a superstar to pull the sleigh. There isn’t a better definition of a star in girls high school basketball than [player_tooltip player_id="147713" first="Ruby" last="Whitehorn"].
