<strong>How it all shook out in ‘19-20
</strong>Rye (13-0) and Rocky Ford (12-1) owned the Santa Fe. Only one of the other eight teams (Holly, a state qualifier, has been added to the ’20-21 layout) was within three games of the top two. In addition, only (Swink 12-11) and Hoehne (11-9) ended with winning overall records. After the top two, Santa Fe teams were an aggregate 43-102.

Rye also headed Santa Fe interests as the only league team to win in districts and regionals to advance to the Colorado field of eight. The Thunderbolts, who were the No. 3 seed, won their first 24 games before getting handled in the quarterfinals by No. 6 Sanford 46-31.
