Humble
Natia Hagan-5’4 G junior
Hagan is an explosive guard that can attack the basket multiple ways and finish not only with contact but acrobatically. She also can shoot the long ball, I saw her put on a pregame shooting exhibition dropping them from deep as if she was playing around the world with herself yet she can create her shot and shoot the midrange as well. Her energy level stays high, she’s pesty on defense, the sort of “in your face” “on-ball defender” type and she plays the passing lane
Angel Bush-5’5 PG junior
Bush handles the ball well under pressure and has a variety of moves like the “shake and bake” that needs help so the traps and double teams kept coming and she found ways to maneuver around and out of them. Bush also does a good job attacking the basket, well she creates off the dribble and with her ballhandling that gets her wherever she wants to go, she sees the floor, makes good decisions and her mid to long-range shooting was another plus
North Shore
Ebonie Sallie-5’10 SF junior
Sallie is one of those “silent assassin” type players that at the end of the game, she has filled up the stat sheet and much of that is because of her athleticism and the energy she emits throughout the game. She will not be outworked not outbattled in the paint for rebounds and she can finish with contact, either from putbacks or slicing to the rim from the wing or straight down the middle. She’s added a nice “face the basket” scoring to her game and she defends well
Shalayne Morgan Shalayne Morgan 5'9" | CG North Shore | 2023 State TX -5’7 sophomore
Gould is somewhat of an athletic nightmare and I said a long time ago she didn’t realize what she’s working with and before the game, she told me she was dropping one for me, she did just that immediately but her playing the passing lane has always been something I enjoyed seeing, that’s not being taught yet it shows that she does things instinctively, which is something you can’t teach so seeing her create the mid to long-range or just take defenders at will is always a joy
Simran Williams Simran Williams 5'7" | SG North Shore | 2024 State TX -5’7 PG freshman
Williams is on the verge of breaking completely out as she has several of the “it” factors working in her favor such as her “feel for the game” she plays within herself, doesn’t force anything yet can just take over a game at the drop of a dime and she dropped numerous dimes I might add, either in transition or from running the set bit what I also like is her body control while attacking the basket, she can take the lick and finish but her mid to long-range is going to make her very hard to handle
