The talent that has been coming out of this region is pretty strong and seems to be pretty consistent year by year producing Division 1 and other college level players. This year’s group could possibly miss out on a senior season unfortunately, but several have already signed their National Letters of Intent!
Top 2021 Prospects In Vancouver
1) 6’3 C Faith Bergstrom Faith Bergstrom 6'3" | C Camas | 2021 State WA (Camas HS) – Signed to Cal Poly
- The state’s top center has become a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball with her outstanding length and skill at 6’3. Bergstrom is a solid all around post player that can play some with her back to basket or in faceup opportunities. She will be playing her college ball at Cal Poly in the Big West Conference.
2) 6’0 SF Jaydia Martin Jaydia Martin 6'0" | SF Hudson's Bay | 2021 State WA (Hudson’s Bay HS) – Signed to Eastern Washington
- A strong and sturdy 6’0 wing-forward that does a lot of her damage within 15 feet of the basket. She is working to add some versatility to her game and projects to play the 4/3 at the next level. Martin is a strong rebounder and competes on both sides of the ball.
3) 6’2 C Katie Peneueta Katie Peneueta 6'2" | C Heritage | 2021 State WA (Heritage HS) – Signed to Air Force
- A strong, yet above average mobile post that has good hands and can finish around the basket. Her size and length allows her to block a lot of shots on defense as well. She can put up massive numbers in some games with triple doubles between her points, rebounds and blocks. Peneueta will be playing her college ball at Air Force.
4) 5’11 SF Skylar Bea Skylar Bea 5'11" | SF Washougal | 2021 State WA (Washougal HS) – Signed to Idaho
- Another Bea out of Washougal High School that will be attending the University of Idaho. Skylar has solid size on the wing and brings a skilled offensive repertoire to the floor. She works hard and will continue to develop for the next level. I would expect a strong senior season from her if she is able to have one.
5) 5’10 SF Lolo Weatherspoon Lolo Weatherspoon 5'10" | SF Union | 2021 State WA (Union HS) – Signed to Seattle Pacific
- An aggressive and tough wing player out of Union High School. Weatherspoon is great in transition. She plays with an outstanding burst allowing her to get by defenders or create enough space to get her shot off. She does a lot of her damage scoring in the paint as she excels as a slasher and driver from the perimeter.
