All across the state, there are dynamic prospects moving up in the Class of 2023. This is something to keep an eye on in the Colonial Valley Conference for the season. Here are some of the top names to watch.
<strong>Kayla McCrea | Allentown</strong>
McCrea already showed what she can do during her first season. She led the team in assists and was a threat along the perimeter. McCrea is the leader of the offense and that will continue through the years.
<strong>Juliana Lynch | Notre Dame</strong>
Lynch will take on a much-extended role this season with some key losses from players on Notre Dame. She is capable of getting in the lane to score some easy baskets and that will be on display all season.
<strong>Haniyah McNeil | Trenton</strong>
Trenton had one of the top players in the state graduate last year in [player_tooltip player_id="156160" first="Leianya" last="Massenat"]. This means they will need some new candidates to step up and McNeil fits the bill. She is a talented rebounder on both ends and can dominate the paint.
<strong>Kara Keating | Robbinsville</strong>
Robbinsville is full of talent in younger grades. This began with Keating and will continue this season. She burst onto the scene as a prospect who could shoot from deep and defend the other team’s best player on the defensive end.
<strong>Ashley Adamson | Steinert</strong>
Adamson played some valuable minutes and was a big part of what Steinert liked to do last season. She will be another name to take on an extended role as a sophomore.
<strong>Arianna Acevedo | Hamilton West</strong>
Hamilton West struggled last season but the future is bright. It is led by Acevedo. She will have a chance to build her reputation even further with the ball in her hands. Acevedo will have Hamilton West playing better ball this season because of her growth and maturity.
