The game went back and forth in the 2nd half before Kamirah James Kamirah James 5'5" | CG Dillon | 2021 State SC scored the last 4 points on the contest to help the Lady Wildcats win 39-35 on the road.
Class of 2025
Mariah Campbell Mariah Campbell 5'1" | PG Dillon | 2025 State SC (2025) is the future of Lady Wildcats basketball in Dillon. Campbell a point guard plays the game very under-control for her age. Campbell plays at a good pace and really sees the floor well from out top to find her open teammates on the floor. Campbell was able to drop a few floaters this evening on her way to 9 points.
Class of 2024
Jerchel Geathers-Washington Jerchel Geathers-Washington 6'0" | PF Carvers Bay | 2024 State SC (2024) scored just 5 points in the contest for the Lady Bulldogs. Geathers is a very intriguing player with her ability to step-out and play away from the basket. Geathers 6’0 has a good skill set and some deceptive footwork down in the paint. Geathers can knockdown the 3 ball and has a decent stroke to say the least from the perimeter. Geathers understands keeping the ball up high in after rebounding it. Geathers came into the contest averaging 6.8 ppg and 12.8 rebounds a game.
James finishes strong
Kamirah James Kamirah James 5'5" | CG Dillon | 2021 State SC (2021) came up big for the Lady Wildcats down the stretch with her play. James scored some cheapies in transition along with a few pull-up jumpers in transition. James scored the final 4 points in the game to secure the road win for the Lady Wildcats. James finished the game with 16 points to help the Lady Wildcats move to (2-4) on the year.
Bulldogs Senior
The Lady Bulldogs got a solid contribution from NorVajha Petitfere (2021) last night in the loss. Petitfere a small forward finished with 11 points. Petitfere went down with what looked like to be a serious knee injury with 18.2 seconds left in the first half. Petitfere was able to walk off the floor and return for the Lady Bulldogs.
Wildcats Senior
Deanna Lane (2021) a left-handed shooting guard finished the game with 8 points in the win.
