Division 1 Scoring Leaders To Know Below is a list of Division 1 players who are averaging high numbers so far this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="202311" first="Kiley" last="Deaton"] | Wausau West | 5’10 G | Senior

Deaton is a versatile prospect who plays on the perimeter and is comfortable handling the ball but who is also dominant in the lane. She’s an intimidating player with the height and strength to make an impact on both ends. She’s a fierce rebounder as well and is averaging 8 rebounds per game. Deaton has an elite motor on the floor- she’s able to get up and down the court with consistency and quickness. She has a great feel for the game and it shows through her movements and ability to make a play for herself without necessarily running the offense. This season she is averaging nearly 23 points per game. In a win over Lakeland, Deaton scored a season-high 36 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="155940" first="Kamorea" last="Arnold"] | Germantown | 5’9 PG | Sophomore

Arnold is a dynamic, play-making point guard that brings excitement to the game. She is a speedy true point guard that is at her best when she has a step on the defender. It only takes this slight of an advantage for Arnold to beat her man downhill and get to the rim. The downhill drive is a staple of her game. Arnold is averaging 22.7 points per game. In a win over Divine Savior Holy Angels, the sophomore broke the school’s record when she scored 41 points. She shot 60% from the floor that night. In another win over Wauwatosa West, Arnold finished with 31 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="206721" first="Trishena" last="Brown"] | West Allis Central | 5’7 G | Sophomore

Brown has a plethora of options when finishing around the rim and it is extremely exciting to watch. She is creative around the rim, often utilizing off-footed floaters and runners to throw off defensive timing and allow space for a shot. Her finishing bag is just very deep, and she has tremendous body control. She has impressive explosiveness for her size, which allows her to rebound well and finish in transition. Brown is averaging 21.6 points per game. In a win over Catholic Central she finished with 31 points for her team. She also led West Allis Central in scoring with 31 points in a loss against a tough New Berlin West squad.

[player_tooltip player_id="132373" first="Jordan" last="Meulemans"] | De Pere | 6’0 G | Junior

A phenomenal athlete who will be fantastic at the next level, the junior simply dominates on the offensive end. She can effortlessly score the basketball and put up huge numbers for her team. She’s become so lethal in the mid range as well this season. Meulemans is averaging 21 points per game. In a win over Sheboygan South, the junior finished with 28 points for her team. In another win over Fond Du Lac, Meulemans led her team with 30 points. Meulemans finds the gaps in the defense well, and she either wiggles through them or threads the needle with a finesse pass to the open player. She is an impressive passer with either hand, even more so on the move. She is scrappy on defense because of her quick hands and feet and long arms. She works very well in a fast system but has the poise and intelligence to be effective in a slow system.

[player_tooltip player_id="156050" first="Grace" last="Grocholski"] | Kettle Moraine | 5’10 F | Sophomore

The Kettle Moraine standout is leading her team with nearly 21 points per game. In a win over Brookfield East she scored 33 points for her team. She shot 70% from the floor. The sophomore is an athletic player that has great upside based on her skill set and build. She has a solid frame, and her physicality allows her to finish well through contact. In fact, she seems to love creating an absorbing contact from the defender. She is an elite downhill driver, and she can finish with power or finesse. She has a nice touch to her shot at all three levels. She loves to take the ball coast to coast off a defensive rebound. She’s a good shooter off the catch, and she hints at an ability to create her own shot, especially from the perimter. In a loss against a top Germantown team, Grocholski scored a season-high 34 points. She also averages 9 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id="132350" first="Chloe" last="Dallas"] | Wauwatosa East | 6’2 F | Senior

Dallas is averaging 20.7 points per game. She’s been putting up huge numbers all season and been a powerhouse for her team inside the paint. She is a physical big with great athleticism. Her post series is well-developed; she loves to use her quickness to spin baseline. She has a very nice tough around the rim- her scoring ability at the cup is advanced because of her patience and explosiveness. She shows a promising face-up game, and she is elite at taking her defner off the dribble, which is incredibly rare for players of her size. She’s added confidence on the perimeter as well- attempting multiple three pointers per game and becoming more consistent each contest. In a win over The Prairie School, Dallas scored 31 points for her team. In close loss against Sussex Hamilton, Dallas finished with 30 points.
