The season is officially 4 days old and not all of the state is playing yet but it’s not too early to round up the latest news and notes from around the state. Career Accomplishments We don’t often spotlight coaches on here but McCracken County Coach Scott Sivills had his 400th career win last night. Congrats to Coach Sivills. Jenkins’ Jerrica Thacker scored her 2,000th career point on Wednesday night. An impressive career for Thacker so far. Kayra Freeman Kayra Freeman 5'5" | PG Elizabethtown | 2021 State KY had a career high 35 points for Elizabethtown. Recruiting News Super Freshman Trinity Rowe Trinity Rowe 5'7" | PG Pikeville | 2024 State KY of Pikeville was offered by Stetson on Thursday. Rowe continues adding offers and should have a great high school career before having to pick a college suitor. Whitefield Academy freshman Riley Simpson was offered by Barclay College after her first career high school game on Monday night. The first offer for the 2024 combo guard from Louisville. Laci Reinhart Laci Reinhart 5'7" | CG Dixie Heights | 2021 State KY committed to Georgetown College last week. A big pickup for the Lady Tigers. Anderson County’s Tiffani Riley committed to NAIA Asbury College. Asbury also offered Warren East’s Lucy Patterson Lucy Patterson 5'10" | C Warren East | 2021 State KY . Patterson has a total of 5 offers now. Thomas More offered South Laurel Sophomore Clara Collins last month. Lexie Moore Lexie Moore 5'9" | SG Owen County | 2022 State KY was also offered by Thomas More in December. Union College offered Lacie Parks Lacie Parks 5'6" | SG Madison Southern | 2021 State KY of Madison Southern. Russell Senior Kaeli Ross Kaeli Ross 5'7" | SG Russell | 2021 State KY committed to University of Rio Grande last month. She chose them over several offers. Notable Returns After a year away, Mya Meredith Mya Meredith 5'10" | SF Scott | 2021 State KY made her return for Scott on Monday in a blowout win. The WKU commit had 19 points and 7 rebounds in her first game back to the court. Greenwood Senior Jacqueline Jackson Jacqueline Jackson 5'7" | SG Greenwood | 2021 State KY also made her first appearance since her Sophomore season and had 12 points and 4 rebounds in the Lady Gators’ win over Glasgow.
