It’s New Years Day and we all know what’s synonymous with that. College football bowl games! Later today, we’ll see the college football playoffs. These will be 2 great games to watch. So, what are 2 high school basketball games that I wish I was watching today? Let’s take a look. <h2>EAST KENTWOOD VS. HUDSONVILLE</h2> East Kentwood was responsible for Hudsonville’s lone loss last season. It feels like these 2 may be on a collision course again this year. Hudsonville has versatility in player skill sets and shooters for days in their lineup. East Kentwood is loaded with size, length, and dynamic athleticism. She combines elite guard skills with post toughness. Jaci Tubergon (2022, SG) Tubergen is one of the best 2 guards in the state and a lights out shooter. <h2>HARTLAND VS. WAYNE MEMORIAL</h2> These 2 programs absolutely scream success in their recent history and could be considered 2 of the top programs in the state. Hartland is stocked full of unselfish star quality players. They have athletic forwards and shooters in the backcourt. Wayne Memorial has length and strength in the frontcourt.
