The first games of Season B started Monday, Jan. 25, and players are excited to be going live against their opponents for a chance to make it to the playoffs. Some teams were not able to prepare as much as other teams, but they will show the level of competitiveness, and desire to make a good run this 2021 season.
This Friday we have two teams competing against one another, and coming off their first game both playing tough teams to open.  Denver East played against Highlands Ranch on Tuesday night at home.  ThunderRidge coming off a very close game Tuesday night facing Mead at ThunderRidge.
<strong>Players to watch on Friday January 29th at 7pm:</strong>
<strong>Keira Kayser-Cochran (2024, F)</strong>
Kayser-Cochran had a good showcasing on Tuesday night against Mead putting up 11 points, and 8 rebounds.  She plays with poise, and can get to the rim with a soft touch.  She also is showing that she can knock down shots from the midrange, and is continuing to extend the range.

Golden plays with a lot of heart, and loves to compete against the best teams.  She moves her feet well on the defense, and does a great job keeping players in front.  Golden shows that she can knock down shots from behind the arc to stretch teams out.

Golden has the eye of a true point guard, and shows that she can be a leader on the floor.  She much like her twin sister has tremendous foot speed on the both ends of the floor.  The two sisters are tough when they are in transition both defense and offense.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="117706" first="Lily" last="Najmulski"] (5’8", 2022, G)</strong>
Najmulski brings the energy for her team, and she can get stops on the defense end.  On a young team she will look to be a leader on the floor to help Denver East secure wins in this shorten season.  She averaged 6 points last year but as this new season is underway she will look to dominate on both ends of the floor.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="216642" first="Alexis" last="Baker"] (2024, CG)</strong>
Baker does a great job penetrating the paint with a variety of finishes, and she can get to the line with ease.  She also shows that she can facilitate the offense, and distribute the ball to get her teammates some good looks.  She scored 8 points against Mead, and is continuing to add value to her game.
<strong>Regan Keyter (6’2", 2022, F)</strong>
Keyter has great size, and length making it tough to stop her as she shows that she can put the ball on the deck with a soft touch over the defense with her length.  Keyter also shows that she can stretch teams out with her ability to knock down shots from the outside, and can shoot the midrange among the best of them.  She scored 9 points, 8 rebounds, and had 2 blocks against Mead
