Sammie Wagner Sammie Wagner 6'1" | SF Reagan | 2023 State #2 Nation TX
Wagner continues to show that she can take over games offensively. She’s powerful off the dribble, she finishes strongly after contact and her shot, well she creates it under pressure and gets it off whenever she wants, it also helps that she knocks it down from mid to long-range consistently yet her rebounding on both ends has played a huge part in the “expanding of her game” as she can take the ball coast to coast while under pressure and hit teammates
Gisella Maul Gisella Maul 5'10" | SG Cedar Park | 2023 State TX
Maul’s range has always been one of those things I loved to see yet her first step is deceptive, she’s long and athletic and creates her shot when it’s not even there. that’s a gift but so is her ability to score in the clutch as well just take over offensively and show that she can be a “nightmare to defend” because she elevates on the jumper, she gets it off quickly and when she attacks, she can finish with either hand
Loghan Johnson Loghan Johnson 5'8" | CG Tompkins | 2023 State TX
Johnson continues to elevate her game as well as she elevates on her jumper and watching her create under pressure and hit the pull-up jumper or in transition and drop the stop and pop jumper, it also helps that she can attack the basket with either hand but what also helps is her “cat-like” instincts on the defensive end where she reads plays before they happen and comes up with steals, well she also plays the passing lane and that usually leads to baskets
Alexis Cortez Alexis Cortez 5'10" | SF Allen | 2023 State TX
Cortez continues to show BCS because her physique is college-ready as well as her mindset because she doesn’t force anything yet can take over a game in a variety of way such as slicing from the wing and scoring acrobatically, this includes after contact or setting the defender up for that midrange yet she battles on the boards, rebounds on both ends and gets countless putbacks
Tristen Taylor Tristen Taylor 5'4" | PG Duncanville | 2023 State TX
Taylor is fast, with the ball and under control so watching her in the open court means you may not want to blink, especially if you’re on her team because she threads the needle like a master seamstress, passes are crisp and on the money but she also can take defenders off the dribble with that same speed and score as well as knock down the mid to long-range
Aniyah Sanford Aniyah Sanford 5'5" | PG Langham Creek | 2023 State TX
Sanford is so smooth and under control, she doesn’t allow herself to be trapped, she advances the ball, she controls the tempo and more importantly, she gets the ball to the right person at the right time and with the numerous offensive players she has at her disposal, she does a good job setting them up yet she can also score off the dribble as well as knock down the outside shots
A Aliyah Carter Aliyah Carter 5'7" | SG Hendrickson | 2023 State TX
Carter has been a burst of joy for her new school since transferring because her energy trickles down to her teammates. Yes, she’s the sparkplug as well as the little engine that does, and when you have the type of consistent heat she brings on both ends, you just know good things will happen. She’s explosive with the ball, blows by defenders for baskets, can dish off the dribble as well as score from outside
