Kinsea Logan-6’0 PF (Team Jordan)
Logan’s versatility stood out on opening day as she was virtually unstoppable. She’s long and athletic, she reacts well, does things instinctively and all of that sets the stage for what I think is coming in the future yet the future is also now as she attacks from the wing and finishes extremely strong, after contact, she has a soft touch around the basket, good hands and footwork plus she rebounds, on both ends, defends, in and outside the paint and she plays the passing lane
Joy Egbuna-6’3 P (Team Jordan)
Egbuna had me right raw on day one yet on day 2 she was “well done” as she simply showed she had the potential to dominate on both ends of the court. She’s strong and powerful on the inside, finishes with either hand, after contact yet she has a commanding presence and rebounds with authority yet she can ignite the break with the outlet, run the floor and finish on the same play and I see even more upside which is scary
Kenedi Glover-6’0 P (Pro Skills National)
Glover has been impressing me since, well forever and in the 5th grade, she showed signs of what was coming so I don’t know what I liked most from her game after catching her after a season or two but that drop step certainly was in the mix. She finishes effortlessly been with players hanging on her and the thing about her absorbing contact is she doesn’t get rattled. She rebounds well on both ends, she can defend baseline to baseline, she even scores facing the basket
Brooklyn Mims-5’10 PF (Power Basketball)
Mims is long and athletic, remember that’s the base, and she has ups so watching her elevate over taller players has become common for me to see and her finishing strongly has taken several jumps. She understands how to take defenders off the dribble from the wing or straight down the middle but she also does a good job on the boards, both ends, and her putbacks are impressive. Add the fact, she plays the passing lane, and voila.
Keynarjah Robinson-5’10 PF (Power Basketball)
Robinson is also long and athletic and brings so much energy but what she also brings is excitement and watching her glide to the basket from anywhere she wants, sometimes appearing to defy gravity is just something to see but so is her pull-up jumper, which she can create in the halfcourt set while being defended or in transition. She rebounds on both ends of the court can get the break going herself because she handles the ball well and she sees the floor
Erikka Gooden-5’11 PF (Pro Skills National)
Gooden showed she could punish playing SF in the Winter Jam a few weeks ago yet on a different team playing a different position, she still showed that power. She’s strong, very strong and she rebounds well because she just battles for everything off the boards but, she finishes, after contact, and did a good job attacking the rim. Her defense is solid and consistent
