Macie Conway Macie Conway 5'8" | CG Nixa | 2022 State MO , 5’9 Nixa – Conway transferred from powerhouse Kickapoo before the season and has quickly established herself as Nixa’s best player. Conway has a reliable 3 point shot but also has an array of spin moves inside and loves to crash the offensive boards, looking for put backs. Thanks to her talent, consistent play, and smarts, she is getting D2 looks.
Ashton Judd Ashton Judd 5'11" | SF West Plains | 2022 State MO , 6’0 West Plains – Judd has rocketed up the charts thanks to added size and strength since last season and a great summer. Thus far she is averaging close to 20 pts and 10 rebounds, often barely playing half the games due to blowout wins for the Class 5 #1 ranked West Plains squad, and also has a game where she had 12 assists. She is the real deal, with a great mid range jumper and off the dribble moves inside and can also stick the 3 ball. She also gets her hands on an incredible number of balls thanks to her length, athleticism and high octane motor and usually looks like the best player on the court. D1 and D2 schools should be making her phone ring off the hook.
Reese Schaaf, 5’11 El Dorado Springs – Schaaf is an excellent all around player with great size and athletic ability. She is a 20 ppg, 10 rpg kind of player with a boatload of assists, steals and blocks thrown in. She can shoot the 3 ball with accuracy and score it inside with her size and length.
Ysabella Fontleroy Ysabella Fontleroy 6'1" | SF Kickapoo | 2022 State #27 Nation MO , 6’1 Kickapoo – Fontleroy has been a fixture as one of the nationally highest ranked 2022 players, but has battled some injuries, missing all of last season. But this year she is starting to put it all together on the court consistently for a loaded and balanced Kickapoo squad that is one of the best teams in the state, consistently dominating opponents so far this season. Fontleroy gets her points at all three levels and is explosive in transition and around the basket. With her athletic gifts and bloodlines, Fontleroy has a very high ceiling and is getting plenty of national D1 attention.
Kaya Goldsby, 5’7 Kickapoo – Goldsby is a move in from North Carolina, making that move prior to her junior season, and has made an impact as the starting point guard on the #2 ranked Class 6 team in Missouri. She is an excellent ball handler, able to weave her way through traffic and also knows when to dribble out of potential traps and other problematic situations. She excels in transition and can score off the dribble in half court as well as make the open 3 ball. She also gets high marks for her defense, using her length to get steals, and has the speed and lateral quickness to stay in front of her opponent.
Moriah Putt Moriah Putt 5'10" | SF Ozark | 2022 State MO , 5’10 Ozark – Putt is an excellent athlete with older sisters who are participating in collegiate sports, and she is in line to do the same. She has a motor that never quits and gets many of her points off of sheer hustle and being in the right place at the right time. She has a nice off the dribble game and an improving perimeter shot and attacks the boards with a vengeance. She is a high ceiling player that makes it happen on both ends.
Emma Compton Emma Compton 5'5" | CG Strafford | 2022 State MO , 5’3 Strafford – Compton is small, but more than makes up for it with her heart and intangibles on the court, which includes her speed, quickness, smarts, and demonic defense. She is as big of a defensive pest as there is in the entire state, always seemingly in the right place to draw a charge, disrupt an opposing ball handler, or get a steal. She is a winner on the court and consistently makes huge plays at critical times, as she did last season in the Class 3 championship game, coming up with several huge baskets, steals, and rebounds to enable Strafford to come back from nearly 20 points down to seize the win. She also hit several key free throws in that game. She may often be the smallest player on the court, but no one is mentally tougher than she is. Compton is a true coach’s dream as a player.
Savannah Campbell Savannah Campbell 6'2" | PF Rolla | 2022 State MO , 6’1 Rolla – Campbell is a lengthy and athletic player on a very balanced and talented Rolla team that is ranked #7 in Class 5 in Missouri, and should be ranked higher due to their strength of schedule thus far. Her ability to score around the basket, off the dribble, and occasionally from the perimeter to go along with her excellent rebounding and defensive skills makes her one of the more intriguing prospects in the area, and she is getting D1 looks and offers as a high ceiling player.
