As season tips off, Prep Girls Hoops Michigan will be providing you with an update to the prospect rankings for the class of 2021. Even as seniors, there will be some adjustments throughout the list. Let’s take a look at some categories that may describe some of the highlights of the list, as well as some players that fit into those groups.

Been There, Done That

[player_tooltip player_id="4142" first="Jillian" last="Brown"] (CG, East Grand Rapids)
Brown has been near the top of the state for 4 years now and that won’t change. The Northwestern commit isn’t just a shooter. She can handle and defend at an elite level as well. Brown will finish her career as one of the best ever from the west side of the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="27986" first="LaChelle" last="Austin"] (SG, Wayne Memorial)
We all knew that Austin could be elite well before her freshman season. The summer before her sophomore year, opposing grassroots coaches were already hailing her as a surefire D1 prospect. Austin has more than lived up to that billing.

New To The List

[player_tooltip player_id="252876" first="Ariela" last="Bobic"] (C, Plymouth Christian)
Bobic has shown that she belongs on the list of prospects from the senior class. She has developed her game and could be a real difference maker in the paint for Plymouth Christian. Bobic could be that late steal for a coach searching for post talent.
[player_tooltip player_id="252875" first="Marcy" last="Creevy"] (PG, Zeeland West)
Creevy deserves to have her name added to the rankings. She’s a steady lead guard that handles and initiates the offense for her squad. I have no doubt that Creevy will prove herself this season.

Primed For A Big Senior Season

[player_tooltip player_id="138319" first="Mackenzie" last="Egger"] (PG, Mt. Pleasant)
Egger flat out looked ready to go this fall. Her game was top notch and in full gear. Egger can beat pressure D by herself, is an efficient scorer, and a matchup problem with her length and strength.
[player_tooltip player_id="27998" first="Jenna" last="Harrison"] (SG, Kent City)
Harrison was a lights out 3 point shooter last season even though she was a younger player as far as experience. She’s had a year to gain experience and grow as an all around player. That’s a scary thought for opponents that saw her shock the scoreboard already last season.
