<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">On to Sectionals! Not many teams can say they are Regional Champions. Below are a few standout performers from the teams who made it to the next round of playoffs. Each one of these impressive athletes is in the Class of 2023. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Waterloo | 5’5 PG | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The sophomore came into the matchup averaging nearly 4 points per game. She finished with 15 points and an impressive performance to lead her team past Wisconsin Heights. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The sophomore knows when to step it up when her team needs her on both ends of the floor. A very smart athlete with fantastic decision making, she finished with 19 points in a victory over Waukesha West. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Xavier | 5’6 G | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Buss came into her regional final averaging nearly 14 points per game and was the player to watch to help her team advance. She finished with 19 points in a victory over Menasha. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The top player in her class, Arnold has been phenomenal the entire season. She continued just that to lead her team to sectionals in a victory over Cedarburg. Arnold finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The sophomore went into the matchup averaging nearly 13 points per game. She finished with a regional win against Iola-Scandinavia with 22 points and 7 rebounds. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Randolph | 6’0 PF | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The sophomore doubled her scoring average to lead her team to a regional final victory over Dogeland. She finished with 31 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The sophomore is averaging nearly 18 points per game. She finished the regional final game with 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for her team. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Truchon scored three clutch 3-pointers to lead her team to a regional win over Drummond. She grabbed 9 rebounds and led her team with 22 points. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Winnebago Lutheran | 5’3 PG | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The sophomore came into the regional matchup averaging 8 points per game. She finished with 15 points to help lead her team to a win over St. Mary’s Springs. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Kewaskum | 5’11 G | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The guard is versatile and comfortable playing inside the lane and out. She scored 10 points to lead her team to a victory over Kettle Moraine Lutheran. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Verona | 5’6 G | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Murphy is a fantastic athlete who will be someone to keep an eye on come sectionals. She’s versatile and can do a lot more than just score the basketball. She scored 19 points in a win over Waunakee. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Auston has stepped up to play a major role offensively as Sun Prairie is without [player_tooltip player_id="157531" first="Avree" last="Antony"] due to injury. Auston has been able to fill the void with her ability to attack the rim and use her craft to find different ways to score the basketball. In the regional final victory over Janesville Craig, Auston scored 23 points. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Aquinas | 5’8 PG | Sophomore</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The lead point guard for Aquinas is continuing to lead them to success as she puts up huge numbers on both ends of the floor. Donarski led her team to sectionals with a 31 point performance. She also dished out 10 assists and grabbed 7 steals. </span>
