<span style="font-size: 18pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;"><b>The Run For Miss Basketball 2021</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are many talented basketball players in the Class of 2021. Multiple players have had incredible high school careers and should absolutely be in conversation for the award.</span></i></span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">[player_tooltip player_id="132341" first="Matyson" last="Wilke"] <img class=" wp-image-132882 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/01/Matyson-Wilke-300x257.jpeg" alt="" width="243" height="208" /></span></strong></span> <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Beaver Dam | 5’10 Guard </span></strong></span> <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Senior Season: 22 ppg / 3.4 apg</span></strong></span> <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Junior Season: 17 ppg / 8 rpg / 4.8 apg  </span></strong></span> <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Sophomore Season: 14 ppg / 1.3 apg</span></strong></span> <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Freshman Season: 12.3 ppg / 8 rpg / 3 </span></strong></span><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: small;"><b>apg</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Wisconsin High School Girls basketball has been blessed with Wilke for four years and she has been spectacular the entire time. As a freshman, Wilke was able to be a key role player and put up impact minutes for her team. She did all the little things right and played with a lot of confidence from the very beginning. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Wilke is by far one of the <em>best defenders</em> in the country. Her ability to read the passing lanes and cause turnovers is phenomenal. She has fantastic size and can score the basketball at all three levels of the court. She’s crafty and has incredible decision making on the court. Wilke is consistently hounded, double teamed and trapped yet still finds ways to put up impressive numbers. Most importantly, Wilke improved her decision making and now finds ways to be a facilitator.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">She continued to add to her offensive game to become the leading scorer on her team for the next three years. Each year she improved her game on both ends of the floor and proved why she is ranked <strong>#1 by Prep Girls Hoops- Wisconsin. </strong></span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Fast forward to her senior year, the Player Of The Year in her conference and All-State award winner led her team in scoring and to 2 State Titles. She earned offers from over 22 major Division 1 programs. She has a career record of 86-6. The University of Wisconsin commit suffered a torn ACL that ended her season after 8 games. She finished her career with 1,299 points, 518 rebounds, 378 assists and 251 steals. </span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="132342" first="Maddy" last="Schreiber"]</b></span><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;"> <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/01/Maddy-Schreiber-e1578084251778-crop-522x343-1612932342.jpeg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-253995 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/01/Maddy-Schreiber-e1578084251778-crop-522x343-1612932342-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a></span></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Kimberly | 6’0 Guard </b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Senior Season: 18.2 ppg / 5.3 rpg</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Junior Season: 15.4 ppg / 4.8 rpg</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Sophomore Season: 15 ppg / 4.3 rpg</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Freshman Season: 12 ppg / 5.2 rpg</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Schrieber has done terrific things in the high school basketball world and is going to do even bigger things when she joins UW Green Bay. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Schrieber continued to improve her game each year, leading her team and rebounds and scoring throughout. Her athleticism and agility improved each season as well. It was clear that Schrieber put in the time in the off season and was committed to her craft. She has excellent frame and urgency on the court. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">She competed on an incredibly disciplined Kimberly team. Kimberly is known for the dedication and commitment their athletes put in throughout the year. A team that also prides themselves on defense, Schrieber did just that. She became<em> incredibly versatile-</em> perfecting her footwork and balance to be able to guard all spots on the floor. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Schrieber is looking to lead her top Kimberly team to a State Title this season. So far she has scored 1,375 points, dished out 207 career assists and grabbed 445 rebounds. She earned Second Team All Conference during her Freshman and Sophomore season. She earned First Team All Conference as a Junior. She also earned All- State Honorable Mention as a junior. After holding Division 1 offers from Green Bay, Milwaukee and Wisconsin- Schrieber committed to UW Green Bay and Coach Borseth. </span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="132348" first="Bailey" last="Butler"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> <img class=" wp-image-155946 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/03/Bailey-Butler-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="166" height="166" /></span></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Black Hawk | 5’7 PG </b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Senior Season: 29.4 ppg/ 8.5 apg/ 6.1 spg</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Junior Season: 15.3 ppg/ 6.5 apg/ 6.9 spg</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Sophomore Season:  17.5 ppg/ 4.1/ 4.6 spg</b></span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><b>Freshman Season: 15.5 ppg/ 3.7 apg/ 4 spg</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Butler has had an outstanding career at Black Hawk and has helped put her program on the map as <em>one of the top teams</em> in all divisions across the state of Wisconsin. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">She’s an explosive guard who can effortlessly score the basketball. She’s a scoring and shooting threat from anywhere on the floor. She’s a great shooter off the catch and can knock it down from behind the arc. Her ability to create space with the dribble is impressive; she sells fakes and uses calculated jabs to shift the defenders balance. She’s been a fun prospect to watch compete and continues to improve her game. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">She’s a fantastic facilitator and is <em>extremely unselfish</em> with the basketball. She leads her conference in assists and is one of the top passers in the entire state. She does a great job finding her teammates on the drive and dish and helping to get them open within an offensive set. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">During her time at Black Hawk, Butler was chosen as a 3x First Team All Conference Selection. She is a two-time Conference Player of the Year, 3x Conference Champion, 3x Regional Champion, 3x Sectional Champion, State Runner Up, State Champion and All State Selection. One of the most impressive career accolades in her class- [player_tooltip player_id="132348" first="Bailey" last="Butler"] has given everything to the game. She is taking her talents to UW Green Bay next season. </span> <span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;"><b>Honorable Mention: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">These players are extremely talented and should definitely be in the conversation for Miss Basketball 2021. These players haven’t necessarily had the “perfect” team success over the course of their careers but have individually shined and put up huge numbers. Each one of these players are highly ranked prospects and top candidates for an All State selection. </span></span> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><b><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="132345" first="Callie" last="Genke"]</span> <img class=" wp-image-132908 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/01/Callie-Genke-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="238" height="156" /></b></span></li> </ul> <span style="font-weight: 400;
