<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Are rankings went from <strong>66 prospects to 75 prospects</strong> this rankings edition and we are going to talk about all of the girls added to the list. We will evaluate their games and we hope you will enjoy this edition of the <strong>Prep Girls Hoops</strong> rankings right before the high school season starts. With the pandemic plaguing all of the United States it is a much needed gesture for the CIFSS to allow the kids to play. These evaluations are credited to the collective of writers on this website. </span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2023, 6’1, PF, South East HS, [player_tooltip player_id="265658" first="Jazmin" last="Cortes"]</strong> - Jazmin is still developing as a player, she is agile and will be pretty good at her height, once she figures everything out. She blocks shots, runs the floor and can finish at the rim if given the chance. She has size and knows how to use it, we are going to watch her development this coming season and assist her with getting to a school that needs her.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2023, 5’6. CG, Sonora HS, [player_tooltip player_id="265659" first="Larissa" last="Robles"]</strong> - Robles is pretty good 3&D player. She’s a lights out shooter from deep. She does a good job of moving without the ball and getting herself open on the perimeter. She knocks down threes with confidence and consistency. Squares up and lets it fly. Can also take a couple dribbles in and shoot from midrange. She’s a good on ball defender. She sliders her feet well and keeps up with the ball-handler; forces them into passes.</span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2023, 5’8, SG, Windward HS, [player_tooltip player_id="265660" first="Skye" last="Belker"]</strong> - Belker is an intriguing young prospect who should be an integral part of the Wildcats this season. She has the tools to be a solid wing scorer. She’s comfortable with the ball in her hands and creating her own shot. She can shoot off the dribble and can hit step back jumpers. Very good outside shooter. She moves well on the perimeter and can free herself up for an open three. She’s a strong perimeter defender who moves her feet well and plays the passing lanes.</span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2023, 5’4, PG, Stockdale HS, [player_tooltip player_id="265661" first="Ebele" last="Mbagwu"]</strong> - [player_tooltip player_id="265661" first="Ebele" last="Mbagwu"] is one of the fastest and quickest players on the court. She uses her quickness to her advantage. Ebele can dribble past any player at any speed. Ebele has great ball-handling, and she dribbles so fast that it’s almost impossible for a defender to keep up with her. She is not a very tall player, but still finds a way to score every time. She averaged 16.3 PPG and scored a total of 407 points during her freshman season at Stockdale High School. Ebele really stands out above the crow, she has to be aggressive especially with her height. She has a great floater shot and can score a layup with pressure on her back. One major move she uses a lot is the euro step, and she utilizes it very well. Shows how confident of a player she is. I think that Ebele can be stronger, she can build up her strength over the years, Overall, she is a very good player who is confident in her abilities.</span>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2023, 5’4, CG, Oakland Tech HS, [player_tooltip player_id="265662" first="Mari" last="Somvichian"]</strong> - Somvichian is an elite shooter. She moves very well without the ball to get herself open at the three-point line. She’s got a quick release and can shoot with defenders rushing at her. Good corner three shooter. She’s also a good playmaker, she made an impact right away as a freshman point guard. She’s patient, steady, and sees the court very well. In transition and in the halfcourt, she’ll find the open player.</span>
