Kaylee King Kaylee King 5'4" | PG Ellington | 2023 State MO (Ellington): The 2023 guard averaged 22 points a game in the Final Four to lead the Whippets to the state championship. She hit a total of eight 3-pointers in the two games, including a few bombs from the Bears’ logo on the JQH Arena floor.
All-Tournament Team
Gretchen Hackworth Gretchen Hackworth 5'8" | CG Ellington | 2022 State MO (Ellington): The 2022 forward averaged 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in helping the Whippets to the state championship. She had 20 points, nine rebounds and two assists in the victory over Blue Eye in the state semifinals.
Ayden Shannon Ayden Shannon 5'5" | PG Wellington-Napoleon | 2022 State MO (Wellington-Napoleon): The 2022 standout averaged 21.5 points in the Final Four to lead Well-Nap to a state runner-up finish. She had 23 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals in the championship game against Ellington.
Bree Shannon Bree Shannon 5'3" | CG Wellington-Napoleon | 2022 State MO (Wellington-Napoleon): The 2022 standout averaged 14.5 points and 10 rebounds in helping Well-Nap to a state runner-up finish. She also knocked down five 3-pointers in the two games.
Avery Arnold (Blue Eye): The 2022 guard averaged 18 points in the two games to lead Blue Eye to a third-place finish. She had 17 points, three assists, three steals and hit four 3-pointers in the semifinals against Ellington.
Kyla Warren (Blue Eye): The 2022 forward averaged 15 points and 9.5 rebounds in helping Blue Eye to a third-place finish.
