Most Valuable Player
Taylor Brown (Lift for Life): The 2022 guard averaged 21 points, three assists and two steals in the Final Four to lead the Lady Hawks to their first state championship. She also made seven 3-pointers in the two games. In the state championship game, she had 22 points, six rebounds and four assists while making three 3-pointers in the comeback victory over Skyline.
All-Tournament Team
Justine Barb (Skyline): The 2022 forward averaged 14.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in the Final Four to lead Skyline to a runner-up finish. She scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds while making nine of 13 from the field against Lift for Life in the state championship game.
Miranda Quennoz (Skyline): The 2022 guard averaged 22.5 points in the Final Four to pace Skyline to a state runner-up finish. She scored 24 points in a victory over Tipton in the semifinals and followed up with 21 points against Lift for Life in the state championship game.
Sydney Booker Sydney Booker 5'11" | SF Steelville | 2021 State MO (Steelville): The 2021 guard averaged 20.5 points, eight rebounds and 2.5 assists to lead the Cardinals to a third-place finish. She had a big performance in the semifinals against Lift for Life with 24 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
Myra Claas Myra Claas 5'6" | CG Tipton | 2023 State MO (Tipton): The 2023 guard averaged 18 points and knocked down seven 3-pointers in the two games to lead Tipton to a fourth-place finish. The talented guard has already surpassed the 1,000 point mark in just two seasons.
Mackenzie Wilson (Lift for Life): The 2022 guard averaged 9.5 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals in helping lead the Lady Hawks to the state championship. She had a great all-around effort in the championship game victory against Skyline with 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
