She does not shy away from playing aggressive defense knowing how to swat the ball away from her opponents.
Aliisha Harris (North Mecklenburg, 2022) does a great job moving without the ball flying down the middle of the paint to get a pass. She uses her length to make herself big when working for the ball inside and making sure her guards see her for the pass. She doesn’t hesitate to get on the floor going after loose balls. She is already a vocal leader for her team.
Gabby Cook (Hickory Ridge, 2022) seems to have her hands on most defensive possessions deflecting the ball away and jumping into passing lanes for steals.
