[player_tooltip player_id="22370" first="Kendall" last="Brown"] is one of 10 players on the list and she helped lead Desoto to win the State Championship but her senior leadership was simply amazing for a team that lost 2 juniors, [player_tooltip player_id="65913" first="Michayla" last="Gatewood"] and [player_tooltip player_id="96915" first="Jamia" last="Harris"] who has already committed to Texas Tech but were out because of ACL injuries

Understands how to put the ball in the basket multiple ways and by being very good at creating her shot, this gives her options because she’s long and athletic, can get her shot off whenever she wants and the mid to long-range is pretty accurate so when you throw in she can also handle the ball, also under pressure, she attacks and finishes after contact but she can also attack and make the pass on the money
[player_tooltip player_id="67948" first="Jasmine" last="Shavers"]-5’10 Mesquite Horn (Mississippi State)
Her power and aggressiveness was evident in elementary school and her work ethic over the years always stood out yet she attacks the rim with that same power, in fact, she overpowers defenders as she finishes with players hanging on her, this also applies to her jumper and seeing her explode off the ground to knock it down, from mid to long-range not to leave out her ability to also switch and run the 1, she understands how to control the tempo and get the ball to the right person
[player_tooltip player_id="263328" first="Kaiya" last="Wynn"]-6’0 Foster (Tennessee)
Transferred and left a message as she helped take Foster on a storybook run this season. Standing at the magic number, she played the 1,2 and 3 effective, handling the ball and running the system was a breeze, as was threading the needle but one of her main strengths was taking the defender off the dribble and finished as well as the midrange pull-up

[player_tooltip player_id="22370" first="Kendall" last="Brown"]-5’9 Desoto (Houston)
Earned the hashtag #CLUTCH this season as she played a huge part in Desoto not only getting to the state tournament but winning the UIL 6A State Championship and for her efforts, she was named to the All-Tournament team. Her free throw shooting throughout the playoffs was huge, her defense was huge but she just found ways to get baskets when they needed it, either by scoring, assisting or making the pass that led to the assist
[player_tooltip player_id="97632" first="Sydney" last="Standifer"]-5’7 Argyle (Clemson)
She handles the ball well under pressure, she sees the floor well under pressure and she understands how to control tempo yet she can flip the switch and just take over offensively scoring off the dribble or creating her shot, yes, under pressure and when you can shoot it like she can from outside, mid to long-range as well as "catch and shoot" she’s hard to handle

[player_tooltip player_id="97915" first="Nyah" last="Wilson"]-5’9 Duncanville (Syracuse)
Watching her watch her older twin sisters play at an early age told me she was going to be "in the mix" early after the first time I caught her. Older sisters played at the next level, so is she and a growth spurt really elevated her game as she elevated on her jumper. Her advantage is she started out at the 1 but with the extra height, as well as strength, she scores so well either attacking or the mid to long-range
[player_tooltip player_id="158665" first="Portia" last="Adams"]-5’8 Cedar Hill (Lamar)
I knew she was good yet she turned it on at an Individual Showcase I covered showing yet another side of her game. I knew she was powerful and attacked the basket relentlessly yet she also showed she could handle the ball under pressure in the open court and run a team, not to mention her no-look passes were definite highlights. She elevates over defenders for the midrange, well the long-range too

[player_tooltip player_id="136321" first="Kiara" last="Jackson"]-5’8 South Grand Prairie
I caught her at the Spring Creek Mansfield Rotary Invitational year before last, yep I caught a lot of heavy hitters, and watching her handle the ball effortlessly under pressure while making pinpoint passes on the money was impressive yet so was her creating her shot and knocking the kid to long-range jumper down as well. She attacks the basket strongly, has good body control m and gave some acrobatic finishes

[player_tooltip player_id="136323" first="Tymberlin" last="Criswell"]-5’8 The Village School (SMU)
Made the adjustment from being a 2 to learning how to run the 1 and after helping lead her team to a TAPPS 6A State Championship as a junior, she established herself as one of the top point guards in TAPPS. yeah, she has a nice jumper from mid to long-range and she attacks the basket with an explosive first step but she also rebounds and defends and let me give her a special S/O after watching her play the passing lane for what seems like forever
[player_tooltip player_id="171923" first="Alicia" last="Blanton"]-5’8 Foster (Louisiana Lafayette)
A heady player that can run the offense as well as score, great court vision as well as ballhandling, under pressure and she understands something very important, how to get hers in the flow yet something else she also understands is to take over when needed and she has always sized defenders up, even at a young age to take them off the dribble or hit the jumper yet the range kept longer and the finishes stronger
