Dropping the Top 10 Small forwards, I'll drop the Power Forwards later today

Let me start with long and athletic which is the base I look at for certain profiles so when you start adding things to that is how I gauge on what level of the next level and her ability to shoot the long ball has always been there, as well as the midrange yet she does it under pressure, well she creates her shot under pressure as well but she wants the ball in the clutch, she delivers and she attacks and finishes after contact
[player_tooltip player_id="67954" first="Ashlyn" last="Jones"]-6’0 Klein Oak (Louisiana Lafayette)
I'll never forget her taking a hard lick in middle school, well heading to middle school and it didn't look good but in the last two minutes, she came back in the game and dropped a 3 to win it. I told her that story and her response was "you remembered that" and things like that just stick in my head but watching her continue to progress on the court to become a complete player on both ends has been a treat
[player_tooltip player_id="136338" first="Eriny" last="Kindred"]-6’0 Del Valle (Texas A&M)
Her club coach told me "man I got a #THROWBACK" and since he's been around longer than I have I couldn't wait to catch her. Another perfect example of showing me she could play young, playing two years up and not "settling" on her skill-set because she was basically and attack the rim, putback type of player early, also long and athletic yet her rebounding, shot-blocking and mid to long-range just blew up
[player_tooltip player_id="97626" first="Bre’Yon" last="White"]-6’1 Shadow Creek (Oklahoma)
My initial sighting of her left me somewhat speechless yet I told her since she was from Louisiana, I expected boudin the next time I saw her. She was really good then yet she turned into an absolute BEAST that could control a game on both ends, that's not as easy as it sounds and I'm talking about doing it against "next level competition". Her mid to long-range, her attacking and just overpowering finishes are off the chain
[player_tooltip player_id="136324" first="Vasana" last="Kearney"]-5’9 South Grand Prairie
Her defense grabbed my attention when I caught her at the Spring Creek Barbecue Mansfield Invitational Tournament year before last, so many players were added from that event and she just was tenacious yet she also showed she could score, creating her shot for the jumper, mid to long-range as well as attacking the rim but the step back was also solid
[player_tooltip player_id="136325" first="Malaysia" last="DePrisco"] -5’11 Cedar Ridge (Air Force)
The first time I saw her heading into her freshman season, her "long and athletic" profile just started clicking as I watched her play the passing lane like an All-Pro cornerback, this is something you can't teach, and over the years, her athleticism has enabled her to have finishes after contact, highlight finishes as well and she elevates over defender to drop the midrange
[player_tooltip player_id="136327" first="Jaidah" last="Black"]-6’1 Boswell
Rebounding and defending and that's both ends and inside and outside the paint. She applies pressure full court and when you factor in she handles the ball in the open court, watching her not only attack but attack with power was refreshing as she finished countless times after contact. She also did a good job creating her shot under pressure and knocked the midrange down
[player_tooltip player_id="200731" first="Jordyn" last="Weaver"]-5’10 San Antonio Wagner
One of those "never takes a play of" types of player, another intangible that can't be taught, and watching her OUTWORK players over 6'0 in the paint for rebounds and putback had me going because that too, is #THROWBACK. She attacked the rim relentlessly, finished after contact but her "on ball" defense is smothering and caused numerous turnovers
[player_tooltip player_id="200733" first="Grace" last="Abercrombie"]-6’0 Jacksonville (College of Charleston)
No, she isn't related to Fitch but she's definitely a designer of making things happen on both ends of the court. Her high energy as well as that base "long and athletic" just blew me away as she handled the ball coast to coast after rebounding for baskets and her exciting finishes weren't all as she showed the pull-up jumper from mid to long. She defends well and plays the passing lane
[player_tooltip player_id="136336" first="Amillion" last="Fowler"]-5’9 George Ranch
I can't tell you how many times I've watched her defy gravity and although it seems like A MILLION, that first sighting of this eager young middle school player hanging in the air for layups just keeps coming back to me. She developed her outside game as well as attacking and finishing with either hand but her defense as well as playing the passing lane have always stood out
