A look at the top performers in the first session:
Dana Rose Dana Rose 6'0" | SF Fort Loramie | 2021 State OH , 6-0 2021, Fort Loramie
She continues her dominance this post season with another big game. Dana has a lot of tools including the ability to score at the rim, or drop the midrange shots. In her semifinal game, Dana scored 22 points on 8-11 shooting and hit all four of her free throws. She also added seven rebounds. She has all the tools to be successful at the next level when she arrives at Tiffin in the fall.
Corynn Heitkamp, 5-6 2021, Fort Loramie
In a game that saw a lot of players perform well in their 42-point victory, Corynn really played well, under control and steady at the guard spot. She contributed 10 points in nearly 19 minutes of action with three assists. A hard-nosed guard with good intensity and desire to be a leader. Excellent range and good handles.
Molly Howard, 5-11 2021, McDonald
As far as individual players, she impressed me the most in the first session. Molly (pictured right) showed her versatility with the ability to score from both the perimeter and in the paint. She scored 21 points with 12 boards and was a wrecking ball against the Waterford defense. So impressed with her intensity and ability to create for her team. Saw her once, it was enough for me to know she is the real deal.
Sophia Costantino, 5-8 2021, McDonald
Loved her motor making things happen for her team. She scored 15 points in the semi-final on 6-9 shooting, also grabbed six rebounds. Has good hands and good control, able to push in transition and either score or distribute for the best shot. Good on the boards, physical and aggressive player.
Mackenzie Suprano, 5-7 2022, Waterford
Had a solid game despite the large margin of defeat. She loves the game and poured her heart into the game, showed a solid game she is a heady guard with good skills. Scored a team high 13 points with four steals. She is already focused on next season, and hungry to make the trip back to Dayton.
