Into the final days of the Class 4A bracket, with most-recent rounds postponed twice because of Colorado’s legendary snow, the higher-end talent continues to rise.
Here’s what happened in the Great 8:

[player_tooltip player_id="95172" first="Gracie" last="Gallegos"] (PGH-Colorado 2022 No. 5) went for a game-high 26 points – 24 after the opening 8 minutes -- on 10-of-17 shooting. [player_tooltip player_id="95130" first="Megan" last="Pohs"] (PH-CO 2021 No. 12, Regis University signee) made 7-of-15 shots for 17 points and displayed superior ball-handling and passing against Falcons pressure. And [player_tooltip player_id="95170" first="Imani" last="Perez"] (PGH-CO 2022 No. 4) was stellar on defense, grabbed 11 rebounds, blocked a couple of shots and prevented several others. She also contributed nine points.
