In the final installment of the positional rankings we will now take a look at the "combo guards" of the 2023 class. These versatile players are capable of taking reps at the point guard or shooting guard positions with ease.
First up is 6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="115409" first="Adria" last="Lincoln"] of Monroe High School. Lincoln has ideal size to go along with a smooth offensive skill set with her handle and shooting ability. She can play in the half court setting well and she is a tough stop when she is playing with burst and aggression. A really nice prospect in the ’23 class.
One of the state’s top athletes is Kamiakin High School’s [player_tooltip player_id="115419" first="Nikole" last="Thomas"]. The lefty combo guard has seen success playing on or off the ball at 5’9. Her potential as a defensive stopper at the next level is there thanks to her lateral foot movement, as well as open court speed to cut players off in transition. Thomas holds multiple D1 offers to date.

Gig Harbor seems to always have a talented prospect or two coming up and she appears to be next in line. Young is a strong, smart and skilled offensive player that made a big impact for her team as a freshman.
5’7 [player_tooltip player_id="154285" first="Ella" last="Kaleta"] from Bothell High School is another player on the rise due to her offensive skill set. Kaleta figures to make a big jump in her sophomore season ahead.
5’9 [player_tooltip player_id="154470" first="Alina" last="Sapilak"] is a part of an Emerald Ridge High School team loaded with some young talent. Sapilak has improved her game a lot over the last few years. She has a smooth jumper and good size and athleticism at the 1/2 positions.
