[player_tooltip player_id="191968" first="Destiny" last="McClendon"] powered Lake Oconee Academy to their best season in school history, winning their first 25 games before dropping in the Elite Eight. The best player in school history recorded 22 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game her senior season.
<strong>2021 5-6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="118131" first="Zyhia" last="Johnson"] – Clinch County</strong>
A lightning quick speedster, [player_tooltip player_id="118131" first="Zyhia" last="Johnson"] helped set the tone for Clinch County as they advanced all the way to the state title game. She pushes the ball in transition and can stop on a dime from the mid-range.
<strong>2021 5-10 W [player_tooltip player_id="152650" first="Angel" last="McRae"] – Clinch County</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="152650" first="Angel" last="McRae"] is a mismatch with her size, athleticism and skill. She wreaks havoc on defense with her quickness and length. She converts turnovers into points. McRae is a slasher on offense that can also score on the block. Her quick leaping ability makes her a tenacious rebounder.
<strong>2021 5-11 W [player_tooltip player_id="118114" first="Prencis" last="Harden"] – ECI – Kennesaw State</strong>
As soon as the KSU-signee returned to action, she carried ECI to a 14-1 record. Following an 0-6 start to the season with Harden out, the dominant swingman put together a Player of the Year season by averaging 29.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 4.8 steals.
<strong>2021 6-2 C [player_tooltip player_id="188316" first="Takia" last="Davis"] – Calhoun County – USC Upstate</strong>
No one controls the paint in Class A-Public like [player_tooltip player_id="188316" first="Takia" last="Davis"] does. She absolutely shutdown the interior in Calhoun County’s 49-45 state championship win over Clinch County as the Pantherettes only managed to shoot 21% from the floor. Davis nearly recorded a triple-double with 9 points, 20 rebounds and 12 blocks. When Davis stays out of foul trouble, she’s an elite rim protector with upside on offense.
