Indya Nivar Indya Nivar 5'10" | SG Apex-Friendship | 2022 State #59 Nation NC | Carolina Flames 17U EYBL
Nivar is sneaky grabbing the ball for steals, and she scores well in transition. Her one on one game is top notch with the way she knows how to get by her opponents to score whether she uses a hesitation move or crossover. She drives hard to the paint creating plays for herself or opening up an option for her teammates. She tracks down the ball after shots grabbing rebounds to extend plays for her team, and she shows off her ability to block shots in transition.
Stevee McGee | Team Carolina Larios
McGee shoots the ball well from behind the arc, and she has a quick release making it difficult to close out on her. She even showed off her IQ and patience when taking a charge on defense. She does a great job fighting through contact driving to the basket, especially in transition. She finished with 18 points in one of her games over the weekend.
Chloe Williams Chloe Williams 6'0" | SF Heritage | 2022 NC | Carolina Flames 17U EYBL
Williams (pictured above) finds herself in the open areas of the court looking for passes. She knows how to use power dribbles to get her position to score, especially from the block. She penetrates the paint with ease getting by her defenders to the basket for some points. Her arsenal of moves to get by opponents makes it seem like they do not have an answer for stopping her.
Mazie Helpman Mazie Helpman 5'10" | SG Swain County | 2022 NC | Team Carolina Harrell
Helpman seems to have the work ethic that every coach wants. She hardly even let getting stitches in a game stop her over the weekend. She was certainly showing everyone how she can shoot well swishing it from behind the arc. Her defense caused an offensive foul making her opponents turn the ball over. She doesn’t shy away from contact on offense either fighting for her points close to the basket.
