Aly Wadkovsky Aly Wadkovsky 6'3" | C Lake Norman | 2022 State NC | FBC Carolinas Elite 17U Adams | 2022
Wadkovsky (pictured above) uses her size and strength to have her way in the paint. She moves well all over the court, and she constantly moves on offense to get the entry pass. The Elon University commit is certainly college ready with the way she moves her feet when posting up in the paint, and she does all the little things coaches want her to do besides moving from block to block like moving around the court letting plays develop and crashing the boards for rebounds.
Imani Lester Imani Lester 6'3" | PF North Raleigh Christian Academy | 2022 State NC | Carolina Flames 17U EYBL | 2022
Lester sees the floor well finding the open areas of the court and makes smart passes to get everyone involved. She posts up well using her feet and strength to get her position. She knows how to read plays on defense, too, jumping into passing lanes and immediately finding her open teammate in transition to score. She can certainly take these steals the other end of the court herself, too.
Madisyn Jordan Madisyn Jordan 6'0" | SG Panther Creek | 2023 State NC | Carolina Flames 16U EYBL | 2023
Jordan closes out on her opponents with speed making it difficult for them to get their shots up. She can drive the ball all the way to the basket fighting through contact on the way. She makes sure she is present in transition to get the pass and score, and she even showed off a nice spin move along the way. She has a nice midrange jump shot she can use, too. She hustles back on defense making sure opponents have to fight for their fast break points.
Amari Palmer Amari Palmer 5'6" | CG South Central | 2023 NC | Carolina Flames 16U EYBL | 2023
Palmer plays aggressively on both ends of the court posting up on the block and fighting for rebounds. She tracks the ball down and blocks shots preventing her opponents from scoring. She does a great job opening up the block for her guards to pass there while she moves into position and scores. She runs the floor well in transition looking for the open passes to get the fast break points.
Laniya Scales Laniya Scales 6'2" | SF Quality Education Academy | 2024 State NC | FBC Carolinas Elite David | 2024
Scales has some great height on her using that to make it difficult for her opponents. She had a nice block in transition making sure her opponents knew she was all over the court when she needed to be. Not only does she box out on rebounds, but she follows shots making sure she always has a chance to grab it. She runs the floor well making sure she is available for passes in transition.
Sarah Strong Sarah Strong 6'2" | PF Grace Christian | 2024 State NC | Lady Strong | 2024
Strong continues to show how dynamic of a player she already is. She is persistent when fighting for points in the paint. She runs the floor well making sure she is available in transition, and she fights for every rebound on both ends of the court. She can certainly track the ball well on defense showing off her shot blocking ability. She does a good job keeping her head on a swivel passing the ball back out to her teammates after she gets an entry pass. She can grab steals and throw the ball up the court right where a teammate is running for them to score in transition.
