while interacting with college coaches throughout the event
Uncommitted Prospects & Families,
Prep Girls Hoops, in cooperation with Scouting Indiana and Indiana Wesleyan University, would like to invite you to our 3rd Annual Uncommitted Showcase. The Uncommitted Showcase is a one-day event organized to showcase prospects who have yet to make their college decision, and who would like to display their skill and ability in front of college coaches at the NCAA Division-II, NCAA Division-III, NAIA, USCAA, and NJCAA levels. This event is aimed at aiding uncommitted girls in the 2021 & 2022 classes, so initially we will only accept registrations from girls in those classes. Beginning May 1st, we will accept registrations from prospects in the 2023 & 2024 classes, and we will make that public via social media @PGHIndiana. Additionally, this event is NOT exclusive to Indiana, so if you are a non-Indiana prospect, you are welcome to attend. Regardless of who you are, we simply ask that you are serious about playing small college basketball, because these coaches are serious about recruiting you.
The Uncommitted Showcase will take place on Saturday, May 22nd, and will be held entirely at Indiana Wesleyan University, just 10 minutes West of I-69 in Marion, Indiana. There will be detailed skill stations, multiple games for each team, along with an academic & recruiting seminar in between. The most unique and exciting part of this showcase…there will be COLLEGE HEAD COACHES working the camp, running the skill stations, and coaching the teams during the games, PLUS there will be opportunities at the end of the day where you can speak with most schools in attendance, whether they are coaching in the event or just there to observe. (NCAA Division-II schools are not permitted to have any contact but can watch; everyone else can talk to players once their day is completed.)
Check-in begins promptly at 9:00a, and we will follow the schedule listed immediately below:

9:40a – Opening Remarks/Introductions
10:00a – Skill Stations
11:00a – First Games
12:00p – Lunch at IWU (Lunch IS Provided)
1:00p – Recruiting Seminar
1:30p – Skill Stations
2:30p – Remaining Games
5:30p – Closing Remarks
5:40p – College Coach Meet & Greet
We can only take the first 120 girls who sign up, which requires a full payment of the registration fee, and we won’t allow any additional sign-ups or walk-ups after we reach our 120-person cap. Last time we had a wait-list, so don’t delay registering if you’re interested in attending. We will create up to 12 teams, and there will be no more than 10 girls on any team in order to maximize playing time for each girl during games. Coaches will sub their entire bench every 5 minutes so each prospect gets a fair opportunity, as the outcomes of these games are not the most important parts of this event. Prep Girls Hoops & Scouting Indiana will also personally invite all colleges in a 2-state radius who are eligible to attend. This includes NCAA Divisions II & III, NAIA, USCAA, and NJCAA schools.
The only expense is a one-time, $110 registration fee, due immediately in order to secure a spot in the event. This fee will go towards lunch, facility rental, event insurance, a certified athletic trainer, officials, and other necessary staff members. Each participant will receive an event bag as part of their participation fee, and we will provide reversible jerseys (to be returned at the conclusion of the day) with unique numbers in order to help clearly identify each prospect.
Lastly, additional details regarding COVID protocols, attendance, seating, etc., will be sent via email during the week leading up to the event. We will likely follow state and county laws as they are enforced at that time, but we will likely also require masks by any/all spectators as well.

(4) NON-CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: If you are unable to make a credit/debit card payment at this time and must find an alternative way to make the payment, our best recommendation is to take cash or a check to a local convenient store, purchase a Visa or Mastercard Gift Card in the amount of $120 (because there are transaction fees online), and input that gift card in the online registration form’s online payment portion.
