Precious Sanders-6’0 PF/C (3T Nation) 2022
Sanders is a physical specimen that ceiling hasn’t been touched in fact a college coach asked me to please stop writing about her yet I omitted several players from self-promoters so I needed 8 and she is on the verge of being a SUPERGIRL. She scores in the paint with players literally hanging on her, she rebounds on both ends and she runs the floor
Areyelle Stevens-6’1 PF/C (Skyrise Edmond) 2022
Stevens corrected me on the spelling of her name yet I got the game right and watching her finish after contact, with both hands had me smiling because she has definitely elevated her game. She also can attack off the dribble and even more importantly,”it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against” she fought against that frontline I mentioned from Mavs Elite and did a good job
Savannah Scott-6’4 C (Mavs Elite STRONG-Durham) 2022
Scott falls into that overused phrase “you can’t teach height” yet I amended it to when you can play and she does things effortlessly which may sound strange considering her size yet I’m not a novice and when you’re fluid and things come naturally, like her hands and footwork, overpowering presence inside and using a soft touch facing the basket, there you have it
Destiny Thomas-6’1 C (Mavs Elite STRONG-Durham) 2022
Thomas is so strong yet she can finesse her way for baskets but I love the strength and watching her go up with players hanging on her made me smile but what she brings to the table will translate over to the next level in a short span because you won’t outwork her
Jaida O’Conner-6’1 PF (Mavs Elite STRONG-Durham) 2022
O’Conner did so much in the flow and she’s one of those players that you go back and see the stat sheet was filled up. She can defend in the paint as well as outside of it but watching her finish with either hand, watching her rebound and run the floor as well as finish on putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends, spoke loudly
Kyra Samuels-6’3 C (Team Lex Loaded) 2022
Samuels uses her body well, saw a nice pick that should be a go-to at the next level because she rolled and finished after contact but she also does a good job rebounding on both ends of the court as well as running the floor and facing the basket to score
Sarah Edmondson-6’1 PF (Texas Lone Stae Black-3SSB) 2022
Edmondson got a plug from another PGH contributor and Pettigrew hit it on the head yet I love seeing players with my own eye and yes, I definitely loved her energy on both ends and her constant battling for the ball yet she showed me she could score on plays not ran for her and she still has upside
Audrey Beatty-6’2 PF/C (Texas Platinum 17U Bruce/Bartlett) 2022
Not sure if Beatty is related to Warren yet she has shown me star status for the past few weeks, Shirley MacLaine’s brother. Okay, few understand everything I say, understand this, she can just take over a game in the paint, she’s strong, she finishes and whoa, whoa, whoa, I wasn’t going to say she rebounds on both ends, which she does but she passes the ball well from the post position, that’s lighting the candles on the cake
