As the season is coming to a tumultuous beginning, we take a look at some of the top facilitators in the State. [player_tooltip player_id="158476" first="Sydney" last="Burns"] is a blistering quick point guard whereas [player_tooltip player_id="207817" first="Reese" last="Ericson"] also knows how to push the tempo. [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] is as competitive and skilled as they come whereas [player_tooltip player_id="158547" first="Madison" last="Naro"] is an other excellent point guard with a traditional skill set. [player_tooltip player_id="158481" first="Taylin" last="Smith"] is a creative scorer who also doubles as a guard with top notch assist skills.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158476" first="Sydney" last="Burns"] 2021 5’8" PG Wilsonville HS </strong>- Sydney is perhaps the best point guard in the entire State of Oregon. She has the complete interworking of the traditional point guard. She pushes the pace, is incredibly tough, and finds ways to get the ball to her teammates whether it is in traction or in the half-court setting. Has a sixth sense for the big assist.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207817" first="Reese" last="Ericson"] 2022 5’5" PG Lakeridge HS </strong>- Reese is a confident point guard who plays with tremendous swagger as she has the ability to make plays for others based on her shiftiness and ability to shift the attention of the defense to her. She is crafty and has a multitude of moves in her arsenal. Collects assists on a regular basis and is a potent facilitator.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] 20s2 5’7" SG Ida Wells HS </strong>- The Tulsa commit is also a tremendous track and field distance runner and on the basketball court she is just as steadfast. She is a courageous leader who doesn’t fold under any situations, instead applying pressure by handling the ball and finding others in optimal positions due to her all-around point guard skills.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158547" first="Madison" last="Naro"] 2023 5’8" PG Beaverton HS - </strong>Naro is in the line of a long lineage of family basketball pedigree as the eldest Naro is currently the point guard for the Boise State Broncos. Maddie is an exceptional point guard who plays with traditional point guard style and grace, knowing when to pick up the pace but also has a calm, andante tempo.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158481" first="Taylin" last="Smith"] 2021 5’5" PG Liberty HS - </strong>The UNLV commit is a three-level poised scorer who gets the job done with excellent marks but also a nose for getting the ball to others in scoring position. She draws the attention of the defense and knows how to drop off the ball to others when they are open. Slick and confident with the ball.
