BCS MayDay Standouts: DL Impact

<strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-288494 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/05/IMG_6055-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />2022 5-6 G Audrey Griffin – DL Impact Bishop – East Hall</strong> Audrey Griffin’s second half outburst helped DL Impact hold off SWFL Trinity Premier 65-57. Griffin poured in 13 of her team-high 15 points after halftime including going 4-4 from the foul line in the fourth quarter. Griffin attacks hard with her dribble using a quick burst downhill. She was comfortable driving with her left hand and was able to finish at the rim. Audrey impressed with her on-ball defense, moving her feet to cut off opponents. <strong>2022 5-7 G Ellie Kinlaw – DL Impact Bishop – Jefferson</strong> Kinlaw has a tight, compact stroke. She has deep range on her three-point shot. You can quickly tell Ellie has been in the weight room as she is stronger than most guards her size. <strong>2023 5-8 SG Callie Dale – DL Impact Bishop – East Hall</strong> Part of DL Impact’s 10 three-point barrage, Callie Dale served as another floor spacer on the perimeter. She had the green light to pull from well beyond the arc, forcing defenders to open up driving lanes for her teammates. Callie dug out some steals on defense, helping Impact get out in transition. <strong>2024 5-5 PG Brelan Sieveking – DL Impact Easterwood – White County</strong> Facing relentless defensive pressure from FBC Black Future, Brelan Sieveking was a bright spot as she managed to handle pressure and find weak spots in the defense. Sieveking did a nice job of getting her feet into the paint on drives. She has upside as a playmaker. <strong>2024 5-7 G Zoe Burkett – DL Impact Easterwood – White County</strong> Zoe Burkett has a scorer’s touch. A dangerous outside shooter, Burkett hurt the defense from the mid-range and three-point line. When she had her feet set and a little bit of daylight, Burkett was money from deep.
