Sophia Schudt, 2024, 5’6, G, First String Academy, Bishop Foley H.S. (MI): Sophia showed her shooting ability with shooting behind the arc, and confidently taking care of business from the free throw line! She moves well with her feet and throws the ball where it needs to be when her teammates are cutting and posting up.
Maddie Smith Maddie Smith CG Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2021 State MI , 2024, 5’6, G, First String Academy, Marysville (MI): Nice moves going baseline, knows how to use her body and protect the basketball. Makes smart decisions on fast breaks, and can make shots with pressure defense on her. Smith can get to the line often and sink them! Solid shot selection. Defensively does well in help side and playing in the seam.
Adrianna Marsiglia Adrianna Marsiglia 5'8" | SG Kenowa Hills | 2024 State MI , 2024, 5’7, G, Michigan Basketball Academy, Kenowa Hills H.S. (MI): Adrianna is everywhere on the floor! Always has her head up, pushes the ball quickly on transition, and sets her teammates up for easy buckets. Love her passes inside to the post players! Nice outside shot- she’s a bucket! Nice motor, gets after it all game!
Gwen Jenkins Gwen Jenkins 5'9" | CG Dublin Coffman | 2024 State OH , 2024, 5’9, G, Ohio United 2024, Hilliard Davidson H.S. (OH): Jenkins is a leader- both on and off the court! She’s is a coachable player, who can really light it up behind the arc, smooth with her cuts to the basket, not afraid of contact, automatic at the free throw line, and with her length and athleticism- she’s a strong defender with quick feet.
Laila Abdurraqib Laila Abdurraqib 5'7" | PG Lawrence Central | 2025 State IN , 2025, 5’8, PG, Ohio United 2024, Lawrence Central H.S. (IN) This young lady is incredible to watch! She’s a 2025 that is playing up against kids 1-2 years older, and more than holds her own. Terrific court vision- her passes are outstanding, and is crafty with handling the basketball. Love her defense, as she creates turnovers due to intense pressure on the ball. Can shoot the ball, and breezes past defenders with under control moves to the basket.
