Program Feature: Athletes Lab

One of the newer programs in North Carolina is Athletes Lab. Here are some of the noteworthy athletes from this organization. <img class="size-medium wp-image-285872 aligncenter" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/05/Faith-Isenhour-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1621244343-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />[player_tooltip player_id="285925" first="Faith" last="Isenhour"] (SF, 2022) has some good height already, but her length is what really makes her a threat on the court. She knows how to jump in front of passes, and she can certainly block shots. She has a nice shot from all over the court, and she is a great finisher at the rim. Her use of post moves allows her to get open in all areas of the court creating separation between her and her opponent. Katlyn Wynn (SF, 2022) can see the floor well and knows exactly when to make her passes, so her teammates can score. She is selective when she shows off her shots, too, making sure that she is set and ready to drain it. She can certainly do that from behind the arc, too. <img class="size-medium wp-image-287032 aligncenter" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/05/Olivia-Ellis-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1621475812-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /> [player_tooltip player_id="285924" first="Olivia" last="Ellis"] (G, 2022) showed off her shooting ability from all areas of the court. She does well changing direction quickly with the ball that is difficult for others to defend. She had some clutch shots in the second half of a game scoring some more three pointers and taking the ball all the way to the hoop for two. [player_tooltip player_id="285938" first="Aubree" last="Grigg"] (F, 2023) is a rebounding machine boxing out and going after shots to make sure she is the one who comes down with the ball. She has some nice moves with the ball including a spin move that backed her defender up and made her shot that much easier to score. <img class="size-medium wp-image-287034 aligncenter" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/05/Macy-Rummage-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />Macy Rummage (G, 2022) was a force with the ball constantly moving to cause problems for her opponents. She dribbled the ball with speed pushing it up the court, and she found ways to get to the gaps herself to find her open teammates.
