Catherine Wassick Catherine Wassick 5'7" | PG Morgantown | 2021 State WV – Morgantown – 2021 – Guard
Morgantown’s pace setter and ball handler Catherine Wassick Catherine Wassick 5'7" | PG Morgantown | 2021 State WV had a solid two games in this year’s state tournament. Wassick averaged 15 points between the two games and faced a tough defense in their second game against Huntington, but still managed to take care of the ball.
Catrina Myers – Jefferson – 2021 – Guard
Jefferson found their scoring spark with senior, Catrina Myers. Myers put up 18 points in their only game of the State Tournament.
Karlie Denham Karlie Denham 5'6" | CG North Marion | 2021 State WV – North Marion – 2021 – Guard
One of the top 2021 girls still available is the sharpshooter from North Marion. Karlie Denham Karlie Denham 5'6" | CG North Marion | 2021 State WV absolutely torched the nets in their first game and played a solid second game. Denham averaged 19 points in the tournament.
Ellen Keaton – Hampshire – 2021 – Forward
Ellen Keaton of Hampshire was a great inside presence. Keaton standing at 6’0 used her size and length to find easy buckets inside. Keaton ended up with 20 points in their only game played in Charleston.
Sydney Bolles – Charleston Catholic – 2021 – Forward
Arguably the most versatile senior left is Sydney Bolles from Charleston Catholic. Bolles has great size and incredible length. She has a grit to drive and get to the basket and will use her mid-range game as a bonus. Bolles is comfortable with handling the ball too making her more dangerous. She is great on defense as her length gets her blocks, deflections, and steals. Bolles had 19 points in their quarterfinals loss against Petersburg.
Lili Neely – Cameron – 2021 – Guard
One of the most surprising players to come to Charleston was senior guard, Lili Neely. Neely being from a smaller single “A” school with not much media attention, she performed well on the big stage. Neely led her team to the class “A” state title. Her strongest look was from behind the arc and taking jumpers.
