is a 6-foot power forward from Mountain Pointe High School who also plays for Arizona Elite. The Lady Pride finished last season with an overall 4-11 record and 3-7 in their region. As a freshman, Aniyah averaged 14.7 points per game, 12.0 rebounds, and 2.3 steals. A total of 10 times she was selected by Max Preps as Player of the Game. This included many double-doubles and she led all of 6A competition in that category. Against Desert Ridge, she accounted for 21 points and 19 rebounds although Mountain Pointe lost the game and it ended their season.
Against Coronado Del Sol, Aniyah had 28 points and 13 rebounds. Playing for new Head Coach Rehema Stephens, she was selected First-Team ALL-Region and named Mountain Pointe’s Most Valuable Player. According to her coach, “…she is aggressive and strong with a ton of potential and has a high basketball IQ. She is a natural around the basket.” Playing club basketball has benefitted her and with three more years of high school eligibility left, there’s no question the sky is the limit for her.
Alicia Ibarra Alicia Ibarra 5'11" | PF Red Mountain | 2024 State AZ is a 5-10 power forward for Red Mountain High School in Mesa who also plays for NWT, her grassroots team. Last season the Lady Lions struggled to a 6-11 overall record and only 3-7 in their region. Alicia, as a freshman, averaged 4.4 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game. She was selected as Honorable Mention for the East Valley Region.
Alicia has gained valuable experience playing for her grassroots team. While an eighth-grader, she won special recognition in a local tournament as NWT beat the Lady Soldiers, 42-29. Today, she is ranked as the 27th best player in the class of 2024. Alicia has improved her game considerably over the past few seasons, and as she enters her sophomore year, she holds a very bright future.

AZ
is a 5-10 power forward for Hamilton High School in Chandler. The Huskies went 19-2 overall, 7-1 in their conference, and lost in the state championship game for the second straight year. Valley Vista beat Hamilton last March, 49-41. Breanna, as a freshman, averaged 4.6 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game. She scored 10 points in her first game last January. Breanna was selected as Player of the Game in the Huskies win over Sandra Day O’Connor last January. She was also selected as Honorable Mention on the 6A All-Regional team.
Breanna was chosen as well as the third-best power forward by Prep Girls Hoops for the class of 2024. She also made the first team 360AZ All-Academic Girls Basketball Team for 4A-6A with a weighted GPA of 4.6. She will be playing an extensive number of grassroots tournament games throughout the spring and summer with Arizona Elite 15U. Breanna is considered an outstanding defender in the paint and will only continue to get better. With the Hamilton JV girls squad finishing last season with a 15-0 record, the Huskies will be loaded in 2021-2022.
Katelyn Larney Katelyn Larney 5'9" | SF Desert Vista | 2024 State AZ is a 5-9 power forward for Desert Vista High School in Phoenix. Under Head Coach David Williams, the Lady Thunder finished the season with an overall 12-5 record and were 7-3 in the 6A Central Division. Desert Vista lost to Westwood in the 6A Championship, 59-43. As a freshman, Kate averaged 5.5 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game, and 2.4 steals per game.
Her sister, Breanna, is two years ahead of her and an outstanding basketball and softball player. Recently playing in a H.O.O.P.S. tournament in Oklahoma that honors Native Americans and was hosted by Elevate Your Game, Kate was selected to the All-Star Gold Division. She also played in the Diamond Classic with NWT, her grassroots team, and made the All-Tournament first team. As she gets ready for her sophomore season, she is only going to get better – both offensively and defensively – and come into her own.
Belinda Gradias Belinda Gradias 5'11" | PF Yuma | 2024 State AZ is a 5-11 power forward for Yuma High School. She also plays for her grassroots team GBS/Cobra Venom. Last year Yuma finished with an overall 5-13 record and 1-9 in their division. Playing as a freshman in all 18 games, Belinda averaged 6.1 points per game, 9.0 rebounds a game, and 2.9 steals a game. She made Honorable Mention All-Region in her first year on the varsity.
Belinda is considered a physical player at both ends of the court. and is an outstanding rebounder. She was selected by Max Preps as the Player of the Game on three separate occasions last January and February. With an unweighted GPA of 3.8, she also made Honorable Mention in the Sports 360AZ All-Academic Girls Basketball Team for regions 4A-6A. With three more years of eligibility remaining, she is only going to get better.
