Samantha Fields (Texas Elite 1 Hogg)
Fields of dreams as I think about her poise, her handling pressure and just running the team smoothly getting the most out of it and making those around her better. I spoke with her mom and she said the team traveled from East Texas to get better competition, I was hoping because I was there but she knew nothing about me which is okay, the most important thing is I know about her daughter
Shunteria Anumele Shunteria Anumele 5'8" | SG Legacy Sports School of Science | 2024 State TX (Houston Dream Elite Red)
Davis had been playing on a boys team most of the club season, brings back memories of yesteryear as she is already strong and attacks powerfully yet gracefully and her finishes are definitely impressive because she takes the lick and keeps on ticking so if there was a Timex award, she’d be in the mix.. Her “on-ball” defense, her playing the passing lane and her rebounding on both ends have an attachment that reads ” you won’t outwork me” and with her mindset, she ain’t done
Jada Richard (Louisiana United Clay)
Richard is one of those players I see for a couple of minutes and know she’s a #D1Lock yet before the event was over, she’s on the verge of BCS. She’s a 2024, and her jumper from anywhere is just pretty to watch because she elevates and releases so fluidly but she can also create off the dribble, she attacks with either hand and finishes with either hand but the ironic part about is that as good as she is, she’s nowhere near the finished product
Nataliyah Gray (Cy Fair Premier 2025)
Gray keeps bringing “IT” and watching her battle on the boards early told me a lot and that she “wanted: IT yet the IT keeps getting additions as her “will to win” trickles down to her teammates, she also finishes powerfully with players literally hanging on her but I’m even more impressed with watching her handle the ball in the open court as well as face the basket and score, now she’s dropping the midrange and let me not leave out her timing to block, alter or deflect as she is on her way to controlling games on either end
Nadi’ya Shelby (Cy Fair Premier 2025)
Shelby is a 2026 yet she’s a lock for that Watch List when it comes out and she’s also a #D1Lock right now, how do I know, I just do so whether she turns out to be a concert pianist or gymnast, the #D1 offers will remain because she’s long and athletic and has the uncanny ability to slice to the basket from everywhere. Her first step is long and explosive plus she can accelerate in the blink of an eye yet she also does something I love to see, she plays the passing lane and can handle the ball afterward to score
