Anna Cary Anna Cary 5'11" | SG Mid-Carolina | 2022 State SC (2022) – Mid-Carolina HS (Prosperity) (pictured on front)
Cary came to play today here at the SCBCA Elite Camp. Cary is the daughter of Newberry Boys Head Coach Chad Cary. Anna plays the game very active on both ends of the floor. Cary plays really well away from the ball while rebounding on both ends of the floor. Cary 5’11 also plays volleyball for the Lady Rebels.
Saniah Richardson Saniah Richardson 6'1" | C Conway | 2022 State SC (2022) – Conway HS
Richardson 6’1 plays down in Horry County for the Lady Tigers. Richardson a center plays with her back to the basket. Richardson tends to keep the ball up high when she rebounds it. Richardson averaged 5.8 ppg, 7.4 rebounds and 4 blocks this past season.
Layla Parker Layla Parker 5'9" | SF Northside Christian | 2023 State SC (2023) – Westwood HS
Parker was very impressive today with her play in the post. Parker played extremely active on both ends of the floor all day long. Parker did all of her work down in the paint. Layla finished at the basket with her left-hand at times while possessing a great set of hands in the process. Parker had a very showing here today at the SCBCA Elite Camp.
Yasmine Cook Yasmine Cook 5'8" | SF Stratford | 2023 State SC (2023) – Stratford HS (Goose Creek)
Cook sure didn’t disappoint Prep Girls Hoops with her play today. Cook was constantly around the action and the ball all day long. Yasmine contributed great effort points just on work ethic alone. Cook did a really good job rebounding the ball out of her area. Cook a guard averaged 13 ppg and 7.2 rebounds this past season for the Lady Knights. Cook sacrificed her game today for the better of the team with her play.
Lexie Ransom Lexie Ransom 5'5" | SG Natrona County | 2024 SC (2024) – Seneca HS
Ransom 5’5 shooting guard was able to knockdown some shots today from the perimeter. Ransom was shot ready to receive the ball and shot the ball at high percentage at times today. Lexie was very instrumental in helping the Lady Bobcats win the SCHSL Class 3A Softball Championship this past June over Dillon HS.
