Sanaa Hairston 5’6 SG 2025 Magna Vista High School
Sanaa displayed a knack for scoring. She found a variety of ways to get the ball in the basket, mid-range, lay-ups and floaters. Most impressive was her ability to consistently knock down the 3-ball with a hand in her face. She also played defensive the full length of the court and was very active both offensively and defensively. The backcourt of Magna Vista High School will be in good hands for the next four years.
Taylor Orange 5’7 CG 2024 Lord Botetourt High School
Taylor was a top shooter all day long, she has consistent form, high arch and a nice follow through. She is also a nice passer around the basket. She made several nice touch passes to her teammates in the post and cutting through the lane.
Cierra St. John 5’5 CG 2025
Another gem in the class of 2025. Already a top notch shooter. Whenever she was on the court you would hear “Cierra spot up”. Opposing teams could not stop her 3pt bombs, she made them wide open and contested. Her best spot was definitely the corner 3. She also showed that she could handle the ball for her team as a back up point guard. She had a good showing as a rising 9th grader in the varsity division.
Jeni Levine Jeni Levine 5'6" | CG Staunton HS | 2022 State VA 5’6 2022 Staunton River High School
Primarily playing the point guard position, Jeni showed she can score at all three levels. She scored double figures in every game and led the way with 19 pts in the Championship game. Jeni is very active defensively, constantly putting pressure on ball handlers which creates turnovers for easy layups. She is fast and athletic, plays with lots of energy on both ends of the floor. Anyone can look at this kid and tell she has put in the work and enjoys being on the court!
Cierra McGinlay Cierra McGinlay 5'7" | CG Glen Allen | 2023 State VA 5’8 CG 2023 Glen Allen High School
Unassuming, quiet threat on the court. Cierra is not going to blow you away with any fancy moves, she is gritty and tough. Cierra has a strong body and can get into the lane whenever she wants. She scored in a variety of ways around the basket, she has a nice pull-up jumper and the ability to knock down the 3pt shot. Cierra is a good on ball defender, when she is locked in defensively she has the ability to create a lot of turnovers. Cierra is preparing herself nicely for a big July!
Grace Huffard 6’1 2024 Lord Botetourt
Grace has great size for a rising sophomore. All weekend, she consistently hit mid-range jump shots out to 15ft. In the championship game, Grace got her team off to a good start making her first two shots from the 15ft range. She made great outlet passes, rebounds the ball well and has good hands. Grace was effective catching on the low block and making simple drop steps or collecting offensive rebounds for put backs. She played in private school last year and will attend Lord Botetourt High School this upcoming school year. Under the direction of head coach Renee Favaro, affectionately known as Coach G, she should develop into a nice prospect!
