Mariah Dallas 5’10 Fort Zumwalt South: This 2023 lefty forward was very impressive in the game that I watched her against Webster Groves. She possesses a good combination of strength and mobility which makes her tough to defend around the basket. She is a good rebounder who will get out of area to corral boards and she will run the court in transition. She will also step out and hit the baseline jumper as well.
Ellie Gira 6’0 MICDS: A 2022 forward who is a matchup problem with her length and versatile skill set. She has good fundamentals inside as she can catch the ball and keep it high and score with a soft shooting touch. She is also a very capable ball handler and passer from the high post with a nice touch from out to 15 feet.
Ivy Lesley 5’10 Fort Zumwalt South: A versatile 2022 forward who excel in the post or on the perimeter with equal effectiveness. She is a very good offensive player in the low post with her ability to catch and score around the basket. She is also an excellent offensive rebounder. She can also score off the dribble and hit the 3-pointer as the trailer in transition.
Binta Fall 5’10 MICDS: A strong 2023 power forward who plays a physical game inside that is very effective. She has tough moves in the low post and the ability to rebound at a high level. She also operates well in the high-low offense either as the passer from the high post or inside. She can also drive the ball well from the high post as she scored on some tough takes.
