<strong>2021 Nike Girls EYBL Nationals – 16U Statistical Leaders</strong>

<em>The 2021 Nike Girls EYBL Nationals took place July 21-25 in Augusta, GA welcoming 32 Nike Sponsored travel programs from across the country. After a full week of games, here are the individuals from Florida that broke the top 20 in statistics from the event in the 16U division. <strong>SCORING </strong>

18.7 Points Per Game (# 2 in 16U)
Carnegie was very good all week including a 33 point effort vs Kentucky Premier on 12/20 shooting (including 4/9 from 3 and 5/8 from the FT line) as well as a 26 point performance in the 16U championship game vs All Iowa Attack on 10/18 shooting including 5/9 from 3. She is a big, skilled guard who is high major D1 college prospect playing up in 16U. She was consistently the best player between both teams in all 6 games in Augusta.

12.8 Points Per Game (# 19 in 16U)
Green scored in double digits in 4/5 game for Miami Suns 16U Team Larkins. She attached the rim fearlessly all week, showcasing her explosive first step and athleticism. On the week she shot 12/18 (67%) from 3 including 3/4 vs Alabama Starzz and 5/6 vs Team Elite. Green was one of the week’s top stock risers, playing consistent throughout the weekend and showcasing her offensive scoring ability to go along with her strong build and impressive athleticism.
<strong>REBOUNDING </strong>

5.8 Rebounds Per Game (# 19 in 16U)
Ramsey played 30+ minutes per game and had 8 rebounds in 3 of her teams 6 games while typically going against players 2-3 inches taller than her. She was extremely physical in the paint and very aggressive on the boards in all of Essence’s game helping lead them to the 16U championship game.

2.7 Assists Per Game (# 17 in 16U)
Carnegie finished # 2 in scoring and # 17 in assists, one of the only players in 16U finishing in the top 20 in 2 statistical categories. She is a true scoring point guard who has an offensive mind set. She can knock down open shots, get to the rim, and attack defenders off the dribble but she also has great court vision, with a high basketball IQ, and good decision making skills.

2.0 Steals Per Game (#17 in 16U)
Corporan stood out as one of the weekends top athletes and very aggressive on defense. She consistently pressured the ball and got in passing lanes for deflections and steals. She is a quick and athletic defender that plays well in a pressure orientated defense.

3.0 Blocks Per Game (# 1 in 16U)
Keita has an extremely long and slender build with an impressive wingspan that likely surpasses her 6’1 height by several inches. She had 6 blocks vs Boo Williams and 4 blocks vs Carolina Flames. At 6’1 she can play multiple positions and blocked shots not just inside the paint but also on the perimeter vs guards and wing players.
